Hey, Am coming over to the USA for a couple of weeks work and have been told I have the weekend in the middle off. Have skydived on the East and West coasts but have little idea what might be going on in the middle. Any suggestions on the best way to spend a weekend in that part of America? I have just bought a HDR-CX105 and a Tonfly camera helmet with top and side mountable box to put it in. Another one is banjo, as in "Bacon Banjo." You cannot get a bacon banjo. There must be an egg component so when you bite into it and the egg squirts down your front you can brush it off in a manner resembling someone playing the banjo - hence bacon and egg banjo. Having been up country in Iraq for the last 5 1/2 months I have now been sent to Kuwait to train up the next lot to go through. Just wondering if there is anyone out there down here? The DZ is a small operation but on a tarmac runway and a very good flying club (even has a decent restaurant). The DZO and all of the staff are extremely welcoming and will do their utmost to get you into the air. The landing area is fairly large. The campsite is free to use and has a brand new toilet and shower block, which again are free. Whilst the DZ usually only has in a C182 they do get in the Pink Skyvan a couple of times a year and borrow a C207 when they are organising an event. If you are progressing, passing or fancy somewhere different to jump try this DZ.

Hercules. It has a tailgate and you can do 85 way from 1 aircraft. Perfect.

Apparently we have a very aggressive snake out here. One of the blokes out here previously saw one and tried to take a photo of it. All you can see on the photo is the inside of the snake's mouth as it went for the camera flash. I am worried about one dropping from overhanging branches onto me. I am currently in Belize and off into the jungle in a couple of days. Firstly, as I have never been anywhere near the jungle is there any good advice from those who have? Secondly, we have a week or so off after the exercise, I was thinking of going to Cancun, is it any good and is the DZ there any good? Thanks Gremlin. I always use Holiday Autos because their price includes all the insurance so if you get hit you just drop the car off and walk away. Top Tip though is to ensure you get your paperwork signed when you hand it back in - they once tried to claim I had handed my car in in the middle of my holiday!
