Here's Andy Farrington flying the Xaos 21-21..

big deal.. show me pictures of him landing it....;)

well.... so long as he's still alive afterward.

Landing without injury is not necessarily evidence that you didn't fuck up... it just means you got away with it this time

Really???? I thought no one has gone below sub 40ft sq?

Well i sincerely doubt he landed it. People have flown sub-40.. i haven't heard of anyone landing them (and surviving) yet.

Okay, I saw that thing hanging in the kitchen at Kapowsin yesterday.

I told Andy Farrington it looked like a tandem canopy for a 1/6 scale action figure, like a G.I. Joe.

Here is another way to think about the size of a 21 sqft canopy that made me chuckle:

Skyler, my Daughter is almost 3 years old and weighs 30 or so pounds. If you could Figure a small rig and small reserve and she would be loading the canopy at close to 2.0 :o

Yes, I am sure they have a big following in Germany and the like. I read some time ago about the accuracy competitions they had. Hell, they would build these skydiver models which were very realistic and drop them from under the wings of RC aircraft. Next, they fly the parachutist in for accuracy landings. It looks fun. With that 21, I would build a dude that would wingload that rascal at about 1.8, then swoop ponds with it. THAT would be outstanding to see. Of course, chow once and you would probably fry the electrics.
