ianmdrennan 2 #29 June 19, 2007 Hey folks, Lets not turn this into a Velo vs JVX vs Xaos vs Vx thing. All are good canopies with their own strong points. Blues, IanPerformance Designs Factory Team

A lot of other pilots had much better runs than I but came up off the water or verted. I am happy about it though, make no mistake. On a side note, special kudo's goes out to Stu for kicking ass and flying like a champ! Blues, IanPerformance Designs Factory Team

alterego84 0 #34 June 19, 2007 what i kind of find interesting is that most of the article is about the jvx and their "almosts" yet 7 out of the top 10 were velo's. kinda seems biased a little bit

CanuckInUSA 0 #36 June 19, 2007 It's unfortunate that Canada as a whole is oblivious to the fact that one of our own is the best high performance canopy pilots in the world. I recently caught some CBC show were they highlighted some world class snowmobiler and while that dude has some extreme talent, Jay also possesses some extreme talent that I'm sure many 'nucks would be happy to hear about. Of course Jay's rein as the best is always subject since the talent level in the pro ranks has never been more competitive as it is right now. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
LoudDan 0 #37 June 19, 2007 I dunno dude, looks like plenty of pilots are bringing the heat. Coming soon to a bowl of Wheaties near you!!
frost 1 #38 June 19, 2007 you can only be on top for so long... it's a fact. Jay has proven year after year that he has what it takes and will not give up his spot that easy But what i have seen in FL this season makes me believe that there will be some new names to learn this year... Just look at the top three FL CPC spots, especially my hero Craig Saucier - taking 1st overall with just 1300 (!!) jumps. This boy will go far, you'll see. See now, here you could be talking about Jay M or John Z, the current world champ. So really, we've got the one-two punch. Props to Chris Hayes too, another Canadian, for several high place finishes lately. Canucks and Velos - a kick ass combination!! Canuck
berchtoldaj 0 #41 June 20, 2007 There were many great performances this weekend. Team Fastrax taking 4 of the top 9 slots is something that hs been overlooked. Their showing was very consistent as a team and individually excellent as well. For an "individual" event it makes you wonder......************ Watch out for planters. hparrish 0 #42 June 20, 2007 QuoteOf course Jay's rein as the best is always subject since the talent level in the pro ranks has never been more competitive as it is right now. To the contrary..........I think it speaks volumes about Jay's Talent to still be on top, even with all the competition. That makes his achievements all the more notable. It's easy to win if you have no competition.
Brains 2 #43 June 20, 2007 Anyone have any ideas as to where some of the other competitors were?? I was thinking of TJ specifically, i always like watching him do freestyle. Others like the rest of the PDFT, the other team xaos pilots, etc? Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you.

Bazair2air 0 #46 June 28, 2007 Thanks for the mention Stu! It was great to CYA all again! You’re all amazing. You’re talents, personalities and energy go far beyond what you might imagine. Hell, I’m still smiling. Although it’s a competition it doesn’t really feel that way. Wish that I could have stayed for the Freestyle. As my flight left for CA Sat morn I just shook my head, I felt robbed. My thoughts were with you. To watch you fly is a privilege. Hope you all come back again next year. For the competitors, if there are any shots you would like either for yourself or your sponsors just email me. Have Fun! Baz www.ChrisBazil.com These are a few pics from the PST @ Mile Hi.
