On-line reaction time test

Recommended Posts

This is a good little reaction test. I would like to see a similar test that interrupts response with a decision. Example: Have 3 buttons that could be pushed and something that comes on the screen to tell you which one, then time how long it takes to do it.

Does anyone see any correlation with age or gender in the results that have been reported?

Nothing too far out of the ordinary with the possible exception of an unusually fast reaction time for a certain physics professor.

People over their mid-40s should be a bit slower and (I swear I'm not being sexist here -- just the facts) females are also normally a bit slower (although I'm certain I'm going to see a quick reaction to that statement). ;)
