For anyone who is keeping track.

"The Trump Organization paid bribes, through middlemen, to New York City tax assessors to lower its property tax bills for several Manhattan buildings in the 1980s and 1990s, according to five former tax assessors and city employees as well as a former Trump Organization employee."

False news. And you can't prove anything anyway.

Bet you $50 that Trump tweets about it and states that it's a stitch-up of some sort. Probably by the leftist MSM.

The season 1 episode of Trump is spot on, I will never understand those who bought into his charade.

He's never been a business man.

Thats not true. trump has always made a business from using other peoples capital to fund his losses. Investors, shareholders, banks and state handouts. Were all used to fund casino's, golf courses, etc. that lost money.

"“Real estate developers in the 1980’s & 1990’s, more than 30 years ago, were entitled to massive write offs and depreciation which would, if one was actively building, show losses and tax losses in almost all cases,” Trump tweeted. “Much was non monetary. Sometimes considered ‘tax shelter,’ you would get it by building, or even buying. You always wanted to show losses for tax purposes . . . almost all real estate developers did—and often re-negotiate with banks, it was sport.”

That's because Trump is part of the mob and everyone is really afraid that a horse's head will show up in their bed.

At the bottom of the article-

Another convicted assessor, Joe Iovino, said he “did not know of any Trump Properties” paying bribes. The remaining living assessors either declined to comment or did not respond to multiple requests for interviews.

I mean, thinkkabout it - everyone Trump knows last name ends in an "O" or "I" Must be some connection with the mob.

"So ya notice that every _living_ assessor kept their big fat trap shut?  Let's try to keep it that way, you know what I mean?  The 'living' part, that is."

Have you ever tried to run a business in New York?

Run one?  Not directly.  But I was in an 8 person startup on Long Island and I can say for sure that we didn't have to break any laws to run the company.   (And when the company is that size, everyone has to do everything.)

Of course I guess we could have made a bit more money if we engaged in organized crime, so I guess organized crime is OK then.

Did they refer to him as the Teflon Don? He sure seems to lead a miraculous life in escaping a prison cell. Stealing from charities, banks, shareholders, investors, other Mob members, the Russian mafia, President Putin, the US state, NY state, NYC, etc.

Hereafter he'll have the secret service protecting the back of his head. Other than the C-19 virus he'll live in mob infamy next to President Putin!

They say the same things about the Clintons.

I guess it depends on which side you pull for.

" On his last day in office in 2001, Clinton agreed to a five-year suspension of his Arkansas law license in order to head off any criminal charges for lying under oath about his relationship with Lewinsky. Clinton has been eligible to seek reinstatement of his license since 2006, but as of 2013 he had not applied to do so. " In addition fined $25,000

Clinton make the mistake of thinking that the constitution and the rule of law applied to him. I have to give trump credit. He has redefined that sacred document in the eyes of the world.

I don't have any.  I was asking a question.

Why is everyone so hostile?

Not hostile. You usually take a "holier than thou" stance when it comes to following the law. Hence, your question surprised me. Are you not as principled anymore?

Oh really? That’s all? You weren’t implying anything further about how business is done in New York? You wouldn’t have any follow up if someone answered ‘no’? The question had, in fact, nothing to do with what is being said about Trump, you just happened to be interested in who here worked in New York? Right.

Why are you so dishonest?

Right, but conspiracy theorists say them about the Clintons and the courts say it about Trump.

Which side do you pull for?
