We are specifically talking about the words people have used.
As usual, you have nothing whatsoever to back up your claims.
As usual you avoid the point

No, Rush. That IS the point.

With Trump you have words and accusations

With Clinton you have known actions.

No Rush, we do not have "known actions" of Clinton sexually assaulting women.

Seduction? Perhaps.
Not turning down that which was offered to him? Perhaps.
Allegations? Sure.

Proof of sexual assault? No.

His children were part of the campaign. They seem to be well adjusted and a benefit to society. Have you seen or heard anything different about them?

Except Tiffany; she's worthless.

No, I'm kidding...but yes, she's not a big executive like her older siblings and a lot of talk partying and possible drugs.

***I am only aware of her attempting to file a police report and it basically being dropped right away due to lack of physical evidence and a He said/she said situation. Why do women not report it?

Look up "Jamis Winston".

2 credible reports of sexual assault that weren't pursued because he was starting quarterback for the Gators Florida State Criminoles.

So why did he settle for $800k?

The problem with the words is that they are his own.

Wendy P.

His real problem is his words were caught on tape.

They are still only words.

"avoid the point" normally is used in reference to a point actually made.

For those of us who understand language and meanings, your words had no point at all. Just the usual misdirection and silly bullshit.

Not until January 20th according to protocol. Until then he's President-elect Trump.

If anyone is calling him President Trump today, they're ill informed.

I think every man has said something similar in their lifetime however.

Perhaps when they're 15, not over 50.

You would be wrong.

You would be wrong. What he said would almost certainly get him fired if he was a teacher. Are you saying that someone judged to be too much a sexual predator to be trusted around children is A-OK to lead the country?

Also you seem to imply that such behavior is fine as long as you don't get caught. Are you really that morally bankrupt?

Read the topic line that Wendy wrote. It's not about Trumps's locker room talk. Sure, many and maybe most men have spoken amongst themselves in ways that are disrespectful of women. That's not the issue. The issue is that Trump bragged about what he DID to women.

He bragged of being able to assault them with impunity because he he rich and famous enough that he could get away with it. Most, probably almost all, men who are rich and famous and possibly could get away with it would not. Because they are more decent human beings than Trump.

Wendy's OP asked how you would feel about this man acting this way toward your loved ones. And her main question is "Do you think that what Trump did is okay"?

Once again, it's not about talk. It's about actions. Do you think pussy grabbing without an invitation is okay? Do you?

No way, not the guys I grew up with.
Yes there was locker room talk, there was never any bragging about committing a sex crime.
Feels pretty creepy to even consider there are people that do think this is ok.
It's not ok, it's criminal in nature and flat out disgusting.

Now that I'm older people don't talk that way around me much; it's a little too much like cussing around your grandmother :P.

When I was young, I was "one of the guys" to the degree that someone once told me to watch out when peeing, because the peppers we'd all been eating made his fingers sting his dick . My language was the crude equal of the vast majority of the guys.

I've also been told I was intimidating (at least to some DZ guys); that could be why I've had better than seeming-average experience with guys.

But most of the talk I heard centered around what guys would do, or would like to do (lots of comments about "big hands on that girl). No one ever had the nerve to talk about actually being inappropriate around me.

That's the part of the tape I presumed he meant when he said every man had said something "similar" -- the judging and lewd talk about the woman they were about to meet or have met. He said, "in their lifetime," to which I agreed that perhaps it was applicable to a majority of "men," if "in their lifetime" included their teenage years.

And to address the rest of Rush's post:

Quote

I have heard women get just as vulgar amongst themselves too.

I will also say that while people of both genders may engage in vulgar talk (as Wendy illustrated in her post), "vulgarity" is not how the rest of us define the other comments on the tape: where Mr. Trump admits to sexual assault (or at least claimed to have committed it).
