******Worthless contribution as always.

Supremes?

She's been there 30 years? Might be time for a retirement party.
Might be her best option.

And if she wins?

She didn't. SCOTUS refused to take the case.

With no dissent. Yet another loss for the bigots.

Quote

But the Supreme Court denied her request without explanation in a brief one-line order. No dissents were noted, and the court acted without seeking a response from the state.

Roll a small group of National Guardsmen to escort the applicants.
When she refuses, she should be arrested, charged with contempt, then toss her fat fugly white ass in jail.
The one funny thing...she's on her fourth marriage.
I'm curious about the chats she has with her imaginary friend.

***Just bought plane tickets to attend a wedding between two gay people a couple months from now. If, when they kiss, my own wedding band suddenly begins glowing red hot and burns my finger off I'll be sure to relay said findings.

Since the thread got bumped anyway, I figure I may as well post a follow up.

I attended the gay wedding and I noticed no strange behavior from my wedding ring during the ceremony. I was completely unscathed. It is almost as if the wedding had no effect on my marriage whatsoever.

Yeah, almost . . .

You'll see.

Just wait.

:)

[Husband]Joe Davis compared his wife to the biblical figures Paul and Silas, sent to prison and rescued by God.

Good idea. Jail her and let God rescue her.

Don't you just love civil servants who are neither civil.. nor serving anyone other than themselves?

I am so over bigots dressed as martyrs. Spare me.
Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.

Bolding mine.

Yeah, I have to wonder how "deeply held" her religious beliefs are if she completely ignores those "commandment" thingies, yet insists on following other parts.

Selective christianity is nothing new.
:S:S:S

Of course not.

I have a funny feeling that if the "Rapture" actually happened, there would be a lot of surprised and disappointed "Christians."

I know more than a few of them. They've been "Born Again", they've felt the "Infusion of the Spirit', but they haven't actually changed any of their actions. Despite "giving their lives to Jesus" and "accepting Him as their Savior", they continue to hate, judge, condemn and disparage those they disagree with. They continue to be bigoted, selfish, and not very nice people.
They pick and choose which parts of the bible they think should be followed.

The actual teachings of Jesus usually aren't among them. You know, the "love thy neighbor" or "turn the other cheek" or "he who is without sin cast the first stone" parts.

Especially the "You treat me as you treat the poorest and meanest among you" part.

Somewhere there's a thing about those who "Follow me in word but not deed" and I'm pretty sure it's not a good outcome.

Her case is special. Just talk to her; she will explain how in her case, the sanctity of marriage HAD to be violated three times.
