Don't know the mileage. It's about an hour on the greyhound, and anywhere between an hour to three hours thumbing it. When I bought a rig instead of a car, I didn't realize I'm the only skydiver in this freakin town.

There are new houses just built on the next Rd. from Airport Rd.
I will be looking at that development on Sunday's Open house before jumping.
You can see the devlopment on take-off as soon as we clear the end of the runway.

My Home DZ is 177 miles away or a 3 hour and 15 minute drive. The closest is 2 hours and 15 minutes away but I prefer Kapowsin

I'm near about 6 different DZs including my DZ (Aggieland) and all of them are about a 2 hours drive away. There are 2 other DZs that are about 2.5-3 hours away.

12 km (7.5 miles) and 15 minutes by car, 7km and 19minutes by cycle (good warmup). DZ is in the middle of our capital and those ***** try to close it, damn!

And you get better warm up if you run all the way. Of course after it you are thirsty and have a good reason to drink lot of beer after last load.

Our dropzone is 102 miles from our house and it takes an hour and 40 minutes.

Its about a 5 minute drive when a 20 minute call is on Im notified via telephone and then head to the DZ

Two close nice DZs, for large values of closeSTI (home) - 1.5 hours car ride at speed limit, takes me around 40 minutes
SWOOP - never been there, but it should be around 40 minutes at speed limit. Supposed to be a nicer place for experienced jumpers. They have a C206, home only has C182s. Oh I wonder what it's like to jump a plane that you can stand up in

It is 61 miles from my house to the nearest DZ - which is the one I habituate. There are two more about 80-85 miles away. All three are C182 DZs.

I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.
