I'm a strong believer of survival of the fittest. If someone clicks on a link called adultbabies.com and doenst expect some sort of deviant site, then they shouldnt be allowed on the web.

I don't know what the flight attendant said, but I want to see the *whole* story--not just the media-spun drama.

Walt

That's just the thing, though...the only way we'll get anyone's version of the story is through the media.

So I guess the whole truth won't be know to anyone but those on the flight...

Pure speculation here, but I bet the woman with the kid went to a lawyer and the lawyer put out a press release with a really juicy story and the media jumped on it without considering for a moment that there must be more to the story.

I *seriously* doubt that the media interviewed any other passengers *except* those on a contact list provided by the woman's lawyer, who must have had a stroke when the kid acted out on national television.

FWIW, I did get a seemingly automated response to my query to the airline:

Quote

Dear Mrs. (my name):

Thank you for your comments.

Continental Airlines is sensitive to the needs of families traveling with small children. We truly regret that media accounts of this particular event have left you feeling that this flight attendant did not respond to the situation in a way that met the needs of all involved. However, this was an ExpressJet Airlines flight and the employees involved were ExpressJet employees, so this matter is being addressed by that airline. We understand litigation has been filed, so we are unable to comment any further at this time.

We appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns. Continental Airlines is a family-friendly airline with a reputation for exemplary customer service and safety, and we look forward to the opportunity to serve your family's travel needs in the near future.

Regards,

Marla Daniels
Manager, Customer Communication
Continental Airlines

And then this from ExpressJet:

Kinda weird that ExpressJet blamed themselves in third person on this second email in a way...
So there you have it...or, don't have it. :S

powdering your bottom, what about your nose:D

Kids will be kids. some behave and some are damn right little spoilt twats. If you have a spoilt twat and do not discipline them then stay the fuck away from airports.

do you realize that when you critisize people you dont know over the internet, you become part of a growing society of twats? ARE YOU ONE OF THEM?
