OK, I admit I do appreciate the little woman doing my laundry and cooking me breakdfast, lunch, and dinner. I also appreciate that she picks up the house and takes care of the kids and brings me beer.

Think of how stupid the average person is and realize that statistically half of them are stupider than that.

I think women are worse. In general, women tend to expect the flowers, jewelry, phone calls, all that little romantic courting type behavior from the guy. They tend to forget about the guy taking out the trash, doing the little fix-its around the house, all the things that the guy does do and instead focus on what he doesn't do.

While I am sure that it depends on the individual, it seems that guys don't realize a good thing until its gone and then they do realize it and want the girl back. Or he is in a different place than the girl when they meet and he isn't ready for commitment but once he loses her, he realizes that "hey, maybe i can commit after all because she really is worth it" And then, sometimes she is still there or sometimes she is not.

Or it just might be that once the pressure is off the guy realizes that he was with an exceptional woman and once he commits then both sides are equal.

i think it can be fairly equal. men can be very dense sometimes and women can expect thier minds to be read too much. alot of this confusion could be cleared up with more communication.
