He puts everything into this song; aggressive playing, yet such a gentle, feather-like touch at times. SRV certainly does kick ass and take names! David Gilmore is a close 2nd though... kschilk 0 #16 September 27, 2007 All Gil's work is nice but a little known fact....the lead on Comfortably Numb (cd version/Delicate Sound Of Thunder) was pieced together from several different concerts on the tour. Dave chose the best parts and they were inserted through editing....compare it with the DVD. I heard him say it in an interview, shortly after it was released.
