popsjumper 2 #27 January 2, 2008 Wassup, Doc? Now how are you going to explain that to your patients? I hope it's not as bad as it sounds....speedy recovery, girl! Now put that man to work for you..breakfast in bed and all that. My reality and yours are quite different. I think we're all Bozos on this bus. kbordson 8 #29 January 2, 2008 Ahh.... Thanks all! Knowledge and skill - two very separate issues. As mentioned before, at least it's only a broken ankle..... what should I expect when I throw myself at the Earth and NOT miss. ACME - I was told that either I fix it at this time or I have to wait a week for the surgery. And when I started asking about quick flying up home to get it fixed... not met with approval. So not the fact that I was a cool dr..... just the break itself determines surgery timing. Thanks again, all
happythoughts 0 #30 January 2, 2008 I guess that was that you out at the end of the trailer park? I was out in the landing area catching tandems and didn't realize who it was. I didn't see the landing because I was looking up. I saw two people and a truck heading over to you. Based on the level of my medical experience, I try not to mill about in the way of others who could help. I saw you wave, that is usually a good sign (being conscious). TK was on the phone and Paul was talking to other people. There was a police car, the ambulance, and a fire truck (in case you caught fire). Things seemed under control. JohnMitchell 14 #31 January 2, 2008 Sorry about your busted ankle. As you know, though, bones can heal pretty fast. I hope that's so in your case. It's hard to jump out of planes for years and not spend a little time in plaster city. I've been there myself. Make 'em take good care of you, okay?
