does anyone else have pop up issues?

in the last few days my pop up block has been stopping pop up from here, in the previous 5 years i'm not had any pop ups from here?
Are they a new thing? or do i need to ferret out some spyware?

Fuck me, I am getting them constantly and they are getting out of hand. Been trying to figure out why, i am guessing if you have this issue from this site then that is why i am getitng them.

My home page is dz.com so would make sense.

The fucked up thing about them is i use firfoz and the popus are IE so even more annoying.

But anyway, I dont get "popuPs" from dzzy dot com... I dont get popuPs from any site I visit! This dude runs 95a and so therefore I dont get any crap that the MALICIOUS abusers of puters around our sphere like to create and send off to all of the unsuspecting geeks.... Been there done that! But i am sure that when i get my updated system up and going I will be inundated with these lil critters but I also have some defense for that time too!

$50.00USD and I'll tell ya'll!!

I have not seen any but....

I hate pop-ups. There should be NO pop-ups from Dropzone.com.... ever! If you see any let me know which ads were being displayed on the page when it happened and I will follow up. Instructions to our ad agencies are very clear about this. I do know we've had some issues with 3rd party content in the past and I will certainly ask about any specific ads that may be triggering these.

Also, let me know what the content of the actualy pop-up is.

Also scan your PC for spyware and other malware... There have quite a few times in the past where someone posts a link on Dropzone.com, a bunch of forum users follow it and the site it links to places malicious software on their computers. Tracking where you came from to that bad site is easy (looking at the referrer) and tailoring your spyware to be activated when that URL is present again in your browser is just as easy. That's how you hide where the bad stuff came from and prolong the life of your malware.

Yep...been having pop up issues. I have a pop-up blocker so I just get the notice that it was blocked. The one I just got was from the "Team EAS" ad.

I've scanned my computer for malware, spyware, etc. and have nothing. I do know that isn't the only ad that has had pop ups.

I use Firefox and the Ad Block Pro extension. I haven't seen a pop-up that I didn't have to click to allow in over a year.

I've NEVER had pop-up problems while on dropzone.com. Hell, never with ANY website I visit, except Facebook with those annoying "Find your classmates" pop ups when you click on a search field to enter text.

I've got an awesome pop-up blocker. My google toolbar shows 81 blocked.

I checked with our ad agency and I do owe you an apology. They served a limited number of pop-unders containing a survey they were doing (not ads). They assured me that it was an error on their part that will not be repeated.

Apologies for that.

My position on this is and has always been that we will not bombard you with pop-ups and pop-unders. If you spot any of these again in the future, please let me know and I'll be all over it

I have never seen a popup from any site since going to Firefox with the AdBlock Plus extension. I also permanently neutered IE and Outlook. Win2K OS.
