We're going to Glacier National Park in the beginning of June.

I'm going to Nationals in October.

Beyond that, those are our major vacations. There may be some weekend trips here and there. Those will probably involve a river float in Gruene and probably a weekend motorcycle trip or two for me.

Okay Sweet, may have to buy myself a plane ticket for my birthday!.... Unless it is same weekend as bridge day, then I will have to make a choice.

    1) Road trip down the California coast, out to the Perris area for a couple days and then to Eloy for a long weekend, Jan. 12-18
    2) Reno for part of PIA
    3) As many overnight or two day backpacking trips as possible once the snow melts
    4) Perris in May for a bigway camp (depending on finances)
    5) Lost Prairie
    6) Perris in September for JFTC (depending on if I can afford the BWC and if I get a slot)

I'll be going somewhere, but I don't know where. I say that because years ago I told my kids that I'd take them anywhere in the continental US for their 18th birthdays. My daughter chose New York City when it was her turn, and it will be my son's turn this Spring. Knowing him, he'll pick something like camping just so he can tweak me. :S

    Mid Jan - SFO
End Feb - Atlanta / Orlando

.... not sure what to do with my remaining 22 days of vacation.... I'm up for any recommendations on ideas that are cheap, and don't require too much travel.

Only one vacation so far is in December?! Come on...gotta have at least one before that....Where would you go if you 'get off the continent'?

And that one's been scheduled since last year at this time...

I would really like to get to Austrailia/NZ. Have started planning that and had it fall through a couple times now. I'd love to tool around Central/South America too.

My brother recently spent about 5 months down there. Started in Peru, went through Ecuador, Peru, Columbia and on up through South America eventually ending up in Alaska in time for his next seasonal job up there. I was crazy jealous of that trip!

NZ/Australia has been first on my list for a long time. Costa Rica is high on my list too.

I get a decent amount of vacation, but I went so long seeing my family very infrequently that now I tend to use most of my vacation time to visit them in Georgia, usually over Christmas and 4th of July.

Benefits, dammit! I two years worth of seasonal work/travel all set when I left Florida and then they went and offered me a full time job and benefits!
