A friend had become very involved with skydiving, and I was picking his mind as to why he did it. I was told that subtle body movements affect the way that your body moves through the sky. That line caught my attention as I thought that it might be something that I could be good at. Also, it intrigued me that a person could have such control within a seemingly uncontrollable situation. There are no DZs close by, but some guys came to jump at an air show. They advertised taking tandems the following week so I went, loved it, and found out they were only two hours away.
