funjumper101 15 #6 March 15, 2013 I tried for several days to see it. No joy. I live out in the country on a five acre ranch. There are no streetlights and it is over 100 miles to the nearest major metropolitan area. I have an unobstructed western view. It gets REALLY dark when the sun goes down. As far as good viewing conditions, I should have been at a 10 out of 10. I am begininng to think that this "comet" was an extremely well played practical joke.
