  1. That was at a time when Sangi knew next to nothing about BASE and just started to get interested in it. What prompted that question why the suits didn't "blow up" is because he presumed that base openings are such mega slammers that this might be a damaging factor to a wingsuit. (Edit to add: Sangi meant the following: "I just meant how can the bodies withstand the severe opening shock of the canopy opening") Giving advice with zero experience is just plain wrong, I definitely agree with you on that one! What is strange about that? There is only one elias123 as well... If your talking about other people who act like Sangi, then I presume that those guys just got so fed up with bullshit condesending remarks here that they just left this site for what it is and actually went to do some real skydiving! That I do understand, and is something only Sangi himself can resolve, if he wants to. "In a mad world, only the mad are sane"
  2. First: When you ask questions like "how do you deploy from full flight without blowing up" people are gonna make smart remarks, and it's nothing to do with this site. Ask those kind of questions face to face and people are going to take the piss. Second: He didn't just ask questions, he gave advice. Wrong advice based on misunderstood second hand information. Constantly. That pisses people off. This site is the same for everyone, yet there's only one Sangi. Strange. He could have accepted that he said some stupid stuff early on in his posting here, put it behind him, started talking sensibly and people would have mostly forgotten his earlier posts. Instead he's decided to keep posting stupid stuff on purpose to try and annoy people as some sort of childish revenge. And so people are going to keep being dicks right back at him. Do you want to have an ideagasm?
  3. As a matter of fact, yes, you are missing something. I know Sangi personally and he's actually a really nice guy. The reason that he post the posts that he posts (quite negatively loaded usually) is because when he was new to this site, and asked questions, he always got smartass remarks from the ''oh-so-experienced" skygods who dissed him alot. I guess that's why he now has a more 'bitter' approach to the posts he makes. It's because all the reply's that Sangi got in the past from posters that are plain rude, that he is becoming rude as well. I'd say, people reap what they sow. I find it realy sad to have to discuss about this stuff, and while you might think that Sangi is the biggest dickhead on this site, it is actually this very site and some of the posters on here that made him this way! So I don't think those guys should be bitching about the way Sangi acts on these forums now. Always when he asked a skydive related question he got bullshit remarks, never a straight answer to his question... And that's what I kinda have a problem with. How the hell are you gonna learn stuff here if half of the time people answer like they know best, you know nothing, and communicate that in a patronizing way. Btw: I thought personal attacks like "Sangi is the biggest idiot on this site" were not allowed ... Great moderating guys... "In a mad world, only the mad are sane"
  4. Something that the heroes of this forum lack (refer to inability to stay in your established grid on the 71 way world "record" fl0ck). So let me get this straight, this Sangi fool is giving shit to the 71 world record holders even though he has never even flown a wingsuit?? Am i missing something or is this Sangi the biggest dick head on this site ?? Do _not_ feed the troll.

  6. The argument is not silly. I'm not saying that Sangi knows why, but even a broken clock is right twice a day. There are big differences in bending your legs and falling at a ratio of 1.5 and tilting your arms back and dive at a ratio of 1.5. By diving you have more speed and reserve to ascend from your original plying path. If a jet fighter wants to fly at 1.5 he can either turn off his engine and fall in the angle he wants or he can tilt his nose down and keep on going downwards in full speed. The last option is definitely the best flying which causes lowest chance of stall and more outs. You might not be all that experienced with wingsuit base, but as a respected wingsuit manufacturer you should be careful when discussing there issues as several people are dying every year because they don't get the difference. Please don't mislead the wannabe wingsuit base jumpers. -Jo Henrik
  7. Getting canopy instruction from EFS4LIFE and Sangi. Sometimes you and I can agree on something.
  8. Getting canopy instruction from EFS4LIFE and Sangi. Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim. POPS 9708 , SCR 14706
  9. Poor Sangi is so conflicted between his fawning, breathless hero worship of Jeb and the fact that Jeb is an experienced skydiver, which Sangi unwaveringly hates. Sangi knows he has all the Mad Skilz of a young Jeb, that's why he is similarly mocked and oppressed by that brainless, fossilized clique of experienced skydivers of the world. _____________________________________ Dude, you are so awesome... 10. Gees i look forward to your posts sangi, best laugh i have ever had. Come back in another 3 years when u have actually flown a few wingsuits and actually done some flocking
  11. No, not really, not everyone wants them.. This is the american logic - The bigger - the "better", not the whole worlds.. Bigger doesn't equate to most distance covered and the biggest speed (which imho matters most in wingsuit flying), unless you fly in mega downwind.. There's a reason why most people don't fly mattresses in BASE environment (where you witness TRUE wingsuit flight). Sangi, I usually try to treat everyone here with respect...or at least a measure of courtesy. Your posts frequently test my resolve in that matter however... In any case, I would suggest that "big" wingsuits are not exclusively an "american logic" and you can see that at many wingsuit events (or video) from events with international attendance. Now I'm curious though. What's your experience with wingsuits in BASE environrment, or anywhere for that matter, that drives your perceptions of "american logic"? And why is BASE "TRUE wingsuit flight"? Can you explain that better? pms
  12. Sangi~ You may very well be correct, i can only speak to my experience and that is over here in the states, i have yet to make it over to play with cliffs yet, but its coming. I agree, this is a very american issue... I wish i didnt agree, but i must. Z Flock #11; Muff #1909; PFI #15, USPA Lifer Commercial Multi-Inst. Airplane/Rotory www.flyteskool.ws Aerial Photography
  13. Couple of jackass soulmates. Sangi, take your own advice, stay away. EFS4LIFE, you're a TROLL, deal with it. You're own post defines "with the primary intent of provoking other users into a desired emotional response". Guess what? That is exactly what the two of you donkey's log onto dz.com for. Just to post stupid bullshit with the intent of sucking someone into an argument. Lucky for you, there are plenty of us on here that NEVER get tired of pointing out what a moron you or your friend Sangi are. This will NEVER get old. And once again, in a few years, I promise you, you'll be so embarassed of your posts that we'll never see you on here again. Well, at least not under the same user name . You're both novices, stop pumping your chests and flexing your muscles on the internet. No one cares. - - i was sent here to disturb the peace - -
  14. Thanks for posting, Sangi will correct you later.
  15. Mike, Sangi is always right. Whether it be wingsuiting, canopies or whatever. Remarkable how much of an expert one can become with 100 jumps. And if you ever forget, just ask him. He'll set you straight. 50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity
  16. To the OP: No. It's not a good idea. Give him a couple days and Brian Germain should get back to you telling you so. After the shit that got stirred up in the "Stiletto as a student canopy", it is understandable that some folks would think you are posting this just to prolong the flamefest now that that thread has died out. I am not saying you are making this up, just explaining why some think that. If you read through the Stiletto as a student canopy thread (Not the older part of it so much as the most recent stuff) you'll see all the arguments why your friend shouldn't be under that canopy (or any elliptical for that matter) at this point in his career. Skydiverkeith: A troll is someone who post something that may or may not be true with the deliberate intent of starting a heated discussion (it's the fishing analogy). The rules are pretty clear about this, and include a link to the definition (click the "rules" at the top of the page, just under the main bar). DSE: I can see the validity of sanctioning any instructor who made a sale of this kind. Riggers are required by the FARs to "follow the manufacturers instructions" and recommendations when packing reserves and maintaining AADs. I think instructors should be held to the same standard when selling equipment, expecially if the buyer is this far from meeting the recommendations. I don't see it happening, but maybe it should. Sangi: Learn your history dude! It isn't the "Fossils from the 70's" that are so strongly against rapid downsizing. It's the fossils from the late 90's and early 2000's. When I first started, it was very common for people to downsize really fast. The good old "just be careful, and only do straight in approaches and you'll be fine" rationalization was really common. So were accidents. Look in the "Incidents" section in old copies of Parachutist. There were often 2 or 3 fatalities per month that were caused by inadequate skills under a canopy that was too advanced for the pilot. A lot of people did it and got away with it, but quite a few didn't. There was a guy at my DZ that was loading a XF 139 around 1.4. He biffed twice before he learned. broke his back the first time and was out for a few months. Didn't learn, and the 2nd time he hit hard enough to break most everything below his pelvis (including the pelvis). ICU for a week, hospital for almost a month. Six months on crutches, almost a year before he could walk without a cane. Another guy was flying a 170 Diablo at ~ 1.2 at around 100 jumps. He has had a few close calls and a 2 cutaways, but hasn't broken himself yet. Eventually USPA got tired of it and started the "Femur is not a Verb!" campaign to try to reduce the accidents (they revised the SIM too). It's been long enough since all that insanity that a lot of newer jumpers haven't seen it. I was "lucky" enough to see the end of it firsthand, and have a healthy respect for advanced canopy flight. Edit to change canopy name to the correct one because I'm an idiot. "There are NO situations which do not call for a French Maid outfit." Lucky McSwervy "~ya don't GET old by being weak & stupid!" - Airtwardo
  17. Sangi, there is no data. The guy thinks his ideas will work, but was saying all the time that they work only to attract attention. He doesn't know what will happen. No wonder no manufacturer was interested. His claims are fake and he lied to all of us. I still hope someone test jumps it and it turns out to be a great suit. Maybe there is a breakthrough in his ideas. I just don't like to be lied to.
  18. As much of a troll as Sangi is at times, why should HE be the one to post GPS data. He never claimed he did any wingsuit jumps, not did he claim to be the one who designed, built and flew the fastest suit on the planet. Looking at wingsuitcompetition.com the fastest score 281.88 km/h (Robert Pecknic) in a V3 The Giboline is quoted at 240 km/h (without evidence to back it up). Even there its not the fastest suit around. Looking at the scores, it seems there is even a Blade, Phantom and V2 that fly faster Ive seen the question asked over a dozen times. So once more.. Wil there ever be any actual proof of the performance? Or will empty quotes, secret books distributed to VIPs and awesome marketing videos and rage aimed at wingsuit manufacturers for not buying claims that are not backed up by data be all we will even see coming from this? JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  19. dear Sangi, please post the GPS data of your wingsuit jumps. scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM
  20. No Atmo and tracking are two separate things, but 'many' Americans refuse to acknowledge that. We track away from Atmo jumps too like any jump. That was never my point, you were just putting words in my mouth. At least Sangi actually still skydives which is more than can be said for more than one outspoken 'ex' meatbomb here. He is passionate about participating in the sport, not talking about it. Ones current jump numbers have nothing to do with their skills, aspirations and aptitude. I know of people with more than 6 times less jumps than me that can fly circles around me, it comes down to what you focus your energy on. "When the power of love overcomes the love of power, then the world will see peace." - 'Jimi' Hendrix
  21. Since we are discussing "tracking" as a means to obtain deployment separation following a jump, are you saying that Atmonauti is the best means to do this ? If that is your point, I think you may find disagreement here. (Although certainly not from the eminent skydiver, Sangi, who is an expert in the field of Atmonauti, and all other forms of skydiving.) Kevin K. _____________________________________ Dude, you are so awesome... Can I be on your ash jump ?
  22. "And yeah -- ignore Sangi; he just likes stirring shit. Most of the other people in this thread jump a whole lot more than he does Wendy P. " I have socks with more jumps(and experience) than that idiot!
  23. Kevin, I gave up on Sangi. I think he loves the attention he gets from his trolling. (sorry to add fuel to his trolling by even mentioning his name) The only thing I worry about is the other new jumpers that may actually listen to is stupidity and take it as validation of attempting things too early. Kudos to the new jumpers with even less jumps than said idiot on calling him on his stupidity. 50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity
  24. Yeah, yeah, now tell us about your Mad Skilzz. I'll tell you how all skydivers are judged, Sangi. They are judged by the laws of physics. The old, the new, the cool and uncool, on a bad day, they all hit the ground at the same speed, with pretty much the same results. As for me, I know how to take care of myself. Judging by your shitty attitude and your moronic writing on this site, you do not. I am always happy to instruct and advise anyone who has a good attitude toward learning about skydiving. You seem to have a hatred of all who have put in the time and effort to learn about this sport and how to survive it, simply because you have not. So, as far as advising you, I could not care less if you ever learn a single thing. You are a textbook example of a DGIT (Dead Guy In Training). There is a crater waiting somewhere with your name on it, and dude, when you fill it, all that will mean to me is that I won't have to read your silly shit around here anymore. See the sig line below? You don't even fucking qualify. Kevin Keenan Florida, USA _____________________________________ Dude, you are so awesome... Can I be on your ash jump ?
  25. I'd have been on that list once.... Something tells me that once Sangi starts jumping again, he'll have a different outlook. Otherwise, someone will likely be winning a sammich and beer.
