One of my skydiving friends is the most afraid person of heights that I have ever met and he is also very afraid of flying in airplanes but thats mostly airliners. I feel hes in a way very heroic facing hes fear like that and skydive (has around 150 jumps) because hes so afraid.

I agree with Happythoughts and theBile, I think they did a nice job putting the finger on it. I was always climbing anything that was high and intimedating when I was growing up in Denmark and Iceland and ended up with frequent broken bones(both legs at the same time once) I some times felt the fear of heights but always when I imagined what I would do if something went wrong and concerntradet on what I was doing the fear went a way I feel its something to do with beliving you can do it and dont exeed your capabilities. if you know them.. safe swoops.....Hallur When I stop skydiving is the day that I die!!! Hi Lee, The way I see it is like this, If your feeling bad about not going down there and jump I think you should shake those bad feelings of by facing the reason thats keeping you from going and take control. Go jump or else your just gonna feel bad. Or if you dont feel bad about not jumping and you have just lost interest then you have 2 choices, try something diffirent like jumping another dicipline or another dropzone or with some new people maybe newbies or something they always cheer me up because they are so exited and happy, not that we all arent always smiling but they smile a little more and the other choice is just quit if you dont care why make it problem? If your getting worried for my mental and emotional well being then thank you...But know that I love my wonderfull girlfriend and she loves me we only need some, or should I say a lot of money to have some fun and travel the world. Exactly, good advice above. you see the relaxing is very important so your body can loosen up a little and do what you want it to do. Me and my girfriend both like Tori, and it looks like there are others in here who like her music or wait was it her looks..o wait was it her red hair..

I have no experience on Velocity or VX .But I love my FX loaded at 1.8 I got 100 jumps on it and I have never gotten any bad or hard openings only line twist 3-5 times but they were nothing remotly serios. Its got a strong flare and it has always gotten me back from bad spots. I bought it new from spain. Sorry if my english is crap im an eskimo and polarbear blue sky...
