I think it's easier to get over being pissed off than pissed on. Being po'd could be self-induced and not have any basis other than one's own perception, may or may not be based in fact On the other hand being pissed on implies something done TO you, less guesswork there. Action may be required.

That's three more weeks using the doctor's timetable. I'll show up for practice on 7/5 and make a jump if it feels good. I have a pre-scheduled doc appt. on 7/6. MWSL meet 3 is 7/17 . . . can he make it?? I should be ready by then!!

The first name that comes to mind for me is Steve "Pops" Connors (RIP). He was an inspiration for me when I first started jumping at Hinckley. Always fun to jump with and he had interesting stories to tell.

Not exactly what you talking about but . . . "pre-stars" were/are? not uncommon. The middle or late divers building a quick 2 or 4 way while the base is building then swooping down to their assigned slot.
