I met Dan about a month or so ago...he was the first face I saw in the parking lot and he had a huge smile on his face, came up and introduced himself and welcomed me! He also hung out that night and over some adult beverages welcomed me to "the family", as I had started shooting video that day. My deepest condolences to the Hartwood family. so being as you are a student to high performance landings, what makes you think you have the "credentials" to be dispensing knowledge regarding hp landings and hp canopies? most people on here that have been clubbing you know that you have no clue as to what you are talking about, and are ignoring you...the problem is people that don't know any better and take information that they read and use it as gospel (much like you did, regurgitating knowledge you have read online, admittedly not having the practical knowledge)....personally I would much rather get advice about hp landings from someone who has done them rather than someone who has read about them... --------------------- Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience!

do a search on these forums, and you will find a ton of people that love them...you will also find a ton of people, like me, that bought one, found out it didn't fit right, called kurupee to find out they didn't give a sh*t, and then in the end realize that all the threads on the suit are pulling apart....same thing happened on 2 kurupee suits my friends bought...only reason my suit somewhat fits and totally hasn't unravelled at the seams are my silly betsy-ross-sewing-skilz....but hey, that was a year ago, maybe they have fixed their shotty built suits and their crappy customer service.... edit b/c i spell good! --------------------- Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience!

i'm not a doctor, but i did stay at a holiday inn express last night.... definitely get it check out, but my money is on that you will be fine in a couple days...i have been hit with pepper spray (wrong place at the wrong time with a super salty police officer) before with my contacts in....eyes swollen shut, my sight was screwed for about 4 days (red, bloodshot eyes that hurt like the dickens) and couldn't put contacts back in for a week or two, but in the end all's well that ends well and i was fine.... separate instance, i slept with the contacts in, woke up, rubbed the eyes and induced corneal abrasions on both eyes....my mom took me the hospital and they bandaged me with stuff and sent me on my way....so walking out of the hospital, i am holding my mom's arm and she walks me right into the door...i can hear all the people laughing in the background, and mom is hysterical she is laughing so hard....i was rather perturbed.... good luck with your peepers, monkey --------------------- Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience!

i ordered a kurupee a year ago and it didn't fit right...the measurements i sent were spot on b/c i sent the same measurements to zute suit for my camera suit and it fits perfect. i contacted kurupee about the suit sizing right after i got it and there was no offer to make it right at that time, in fact i kind of got blown off. i put about 15 jumps on the suit and all the threading along the arms started to come undone....i had my rigger make alterations to the suit but still very rarely jump it.... moral of the story, you get what you pay for.... edit: b/c i have fat fingers and can't type --------------------- Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience!

my camera helmet is an Nvertigo X with outside mounts...after losing both aubible from riser strike on a jump, i built a fiberglass shield to cover them...you might want to think about this if you go with the hurricane.... here are pics of the cover psw097 made, mine is similar.... --------------------- Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience!
