  1. hi andrew, -well you could have hot showers, but they re probably already built. -and besides that some comfortable bunkhouses, with some 2 bed rooms, so you don't have to listen snoring orchester... - you could also put something softer in the packing area like some sort of carpet... and then also few things that are not so "mandatory": - restaurant with GOOD and BIG meals - swooping pond, - swiming pool - organized transport (some van) from the international airport to your dz, instead of adrenaline driving taxi... - bar with a lot of drinks open almost all night, or some sort of "organized" gathering point, for skydivers to party after jumps, instead of everyone going on their own (well almost...) or in the town... ... hope to se you again next year

  8. Wow, so many of you for infinity?? Well i haven't seen any infinity yet, so i can't say about features or manufacture quality or design. But what i saw on the pictures, my mirage g4 is at least 10 times better looking than any infinity . So yes i'll vote Mirage G4 "George just lucky i guess!"
  9. Well me and my friend found a really cheap ride with a plane there. its 240eur alltogether. the trick is it's from munchen, so you have to find a cheap way to get to munchen.... if you're interested send me a pm. "George just lucky i guess!"
  10. Slinks all the way. But be aware Slinks for mains are not the same as for the reservers. Slinks for reserves are thicker. "George just lucky i guess!"

    Butt Bungies

ah don't worry, you'll feel what that is soon enough. I really hate them cause i'm one of the rare FF in my country that uses bungie cord, and most relative workers here somehow see that cord as a fun... "George just lucky i guess!"
  16. Well hmm, i'm tryin to be a smartass, but wingloading 4.0 on 39 or 4.0 on 85 for example is definitely not the same. The body (pilot) on 39 produces so much more drag comparing to the lift than on the 85 that's it's way harder to land (i'd assume). not to mention the lenght of the lines..... "George just lucky i guess!"
  17. I also think it's too high. well you can't go wrong by tryin that high for the first time . Otherwise think this. You let go of both front risers couple of meters/feets before you would start your normal flare. How many meters/feets that is of course depends on how much input (both front risers) you gave and of the recovery arc. but with loading 0.9 and the canopy you have, that can't be that much. And you gain maximum speed in both front risers quite quick (i don't know about 5 seconds or even less). so unless you loose 600 feet in 5 seconds, i think it's safe to start a little lower (i have in mind about 100-200 feet) But like you said try it out yourself and listen to canopy coaches as you did.
  18. Where did you bought it? Do you maybe have a link to web page (if it exists)?
  19. And they're ugly too "George just lucky i guess!"
  20. i had the same problem with pulling pilot chute out of the boc, because boc was super tight when brand new. which is actually good thing in freefal. so i just figured out a way how to pack my pilot chute so i can extract it more easily. yeah mine bag also seems a bit large. i can easily put my cobalt comp. 120 in my bag, but when the container is closed it's very tight. they probably just use a little bigger bag for ease of packing, but you have to folow the manual. because you might stuff the canopy in the bag, but it won't fit in the container... ? i'm not sure, just guessing. "George just lucky i guess!"
  21. maybe you should check if you got the right d-bag. it's written somewhere on the bag for which size it is. on mine it sais MT (i have G4.1 size MT). i have cobalt comp. 120 in it (in manual it sais it's packed tight), and it is tight. it needs about 15lbs to open the container and about 5-10 lbs to pull the bag out. I can't lift the rig by bridle, and that's good enough for me. If i can lift the closed rig by the bridle, then it's too tight. if it opens before if leaves the ground it's good, well for me at least. maybe others have more strict rules.. ? about pilot chute hesitations... since you changed the pilot chute (as far as i know mirage only sells low porosity-f111 pilot chutes and not ZP) maybe you should check how much force does your pilot chute produce. On a highway from a car at 100 mph... What is more likely is that your bridle is somehow stuck somewhere. Be sure that you close the container as it's in the manual (it's also drawn on the bottom of last flap on your container)... make sure that the bridle goes over the flap #4 and not one the left side of it. I'm packing exactly like in manual and i don't have any hesitation and i did about 400 jumps on mine. "George just lucky i guess!"
