We are trying to get the video back on the camera to use the photo capture feature. to create stills from a skydiving video. is there a way in sony vegas to get higher quality screen shots from the video once it is on the computer that would deliver higher quality still photos? We are taking video from sony cameras and storing the mts files from the memory stick on the computer, and using sony vegas platinum. once the files are on the computer and the card is reformatted, how can you send the files back to the card so the camera can recognize them to do a photo capture? Camera is a cx 12 We understand how to do screenshots from the computer but the quality is low, and is best done from the camera itself. suggestions? Thank you. No Drogue, no JUMP!!

. I was thinking about starting a parachute association as well in order to charge people for ratings they already have. Next step (after another secret meeting) is to require all AFF/I, ASL/I and Coaches to get the equivalent license from the rig manufacturer that they are using when jumping with their students. If you are an USPA AFF/I and you jump Javelin, you will have to be Sun Path AFF/I licensed. If your second rig is a Vector, you gotta be UPT AFF/I licensed as well. Well, I´ve been using my HP quad core, 4 gb and external HD with Sony Vegas Platinum this year and due to increasing volume I need another video station for 2010 season. I´d like to buy another PC (i7) but my video editor loves MACs. I read several threads but due to my ignorance , I still unable to figure out if a MAC (Intel powered) with Snow Leopard would do a faster and easier editing when using AVCHD files yhen my PC. What´s the deal with converting files? Does it really slow down the whole process when using MACs? Our goal is delivery all videos in the same day, within one hour at most. We do up to 5 videos/pictures per hour - Cessna / handcam with CX-12. Thanks! No Drogue, no JUMP!!

the rear step and the handle located below to the right hand flap are designed for the CM, AFF/I or 4 way team. They have the rear step built in one small step like on Twin Other as well. That big one is perfect for an AFF instructor and a CM positioning themselves out and leave most of the above the wheel step for the student. Both aircraft are located in Brazil where this system has been in use since late 80's without any problem. No Drogue, no JUMP!!

The term "drogue release" and "auxiliary drogue release" belong to the past. Both are drogue release and you gotta pull at least one, at your discretion. As Sid and kirk mentioned before, always keep practicing on both sides. I pull my "left side drogue release" every jump without handcam (30%). Now days we are teaching new TI candidates to pull the drogue release. If nothing happens, pull the other drogue release. Very simple. No Drogue, no JUMP!!

Yes, it is or at least I think so. I bought it on EBay, from an EBay store. The box came sealed, CD and 2 manuals, Sony Creative Software / Product Overview and SN and registration #. The seller mentioned something about merchant version or merchant unit. I can't remember... One more detail: on the very bottom of the box, there is a squared area at the right hand side of Sony's name and address that was peeled off carefully. Hi guys, I'm having trouble with my new set up. My Sony Vegas 9 Platinum just stopped to import audio files while I'm shooting videos on stereo mode. The same clip plays normally on ULead, CX-12 or Window Media Player but the audio file does not appear on my S.V. time line. I shot a few videos in 5:1ch this week and now it does recognize the audio. Let me add more details: This SV is original and has been installed in another computer in my actual DZ. Guess what? One of our CM just got his CX-100 and the DZ computer with this SV does not recognizes his audio as well. We've tried to switch his CX-100 to 5:1ch but we could not find this option. I guess it's not available... We are both shooting SD. I didn't change any SV setting on my computer before it happened. So, what's going on? Why does my SV is not interacting with its counterparts? I can't anymore. Skydive Magazine is gone... Horseshoes happens on MAIN canopy due several reasons. Broken closing loop, loose closing loop, worn out pilot chute pouch, too small pilot chute to its pouch, lack of pin check before exit and etc... This is not a container design fault. But it was my fault no to write "I never saw one single case of reserve premature opening on Racer" No Drogue, no JUMP!!

There is a few more reasons to jump a Racer: -I never saw one single case of premature opening on Racer; -You check your reserve pins on the ground and forget it. Your friends can kick you on the back, you can rest your back against any military aircraft seat or hit the top of the door at the exit (see that nice picture of a "sloppy tandem exit at Skydive Magazine #330) ; -Your packer can route the main's bridle in any direction and it will not cause a pilot chute in tow; -Your packer can close the main container in any order he or she thinks it's right and it will not cause a pilot chute in tow; -The only harness made from type XIII; -The only rig on the market that you can custom order to a specific size of main and reserve canopy. I'm not a Racer fanatic. I just couldn't find anything better to worship. No Drogue, no JUMP!!

This kind of customer service have decided where I'm shopping for my next tandem canopies... No Drogue, no JUMP!!

I'm afraid to tell you that this one was the original Tandem Race canopy. Give them a call to confirm. If I'm right on that, I really wish you a good luck. This canopy will open so fast that it will be on black/white for while. Colors will came along later... No Drogue, no JUMP!!

I have jumped 23 different tandem canopies. I disagree that Icarus is like a truck comparing to this canopy. It's not fair. ALL of them are like a truck comparing to Hop 330. No Drogue, no JUMP!!

It's just time to replace my old PC-101 and off course, my hand glove. I have a Way Cool glove and I'd to try something new. Regarding my actual glove, I have no complaints at all. After 2.000 hand cams and couple of patches on it, it is still rocking. I saw one made in US and I didn't like. Any suggestions? No Drogue, no JUMP!!

How many crashes and lives we could save if there was a place to discuss specifically about JUMP PLANES? That little tip to correct certain issue on that particular plane can make a difference to someone else if shared.
