  1. Hi Andy, I agree questions are all good., especially where money is involved, But that dude made 7 comments on this thread and only one of them had valid questions in it (even though I think its early days to need all the info that he was asking). The rest of his dialogue was just condescending and argumentative straight from the 1st message Adam
  2. Hey Skinnay, If your not interested, dont invest - simple. Dont know why you bitching so much about it. Maybe you could try adding something constructive to the forum instead of the negativity? Its not that hard to understand - If they manage to raise 1.2 million then other investors would take them seriously, things could start rolling and one day a tunnel may be built in NY. Tunnel type/manufacturer/location and all your other questions are not really important.
  3. Pay per jump. Prices at DZ Ive worked at 35 euros per jump in Netherlands. Thats not with own gear or packing. its 50 50 british pounds with own gear and packing in UK. 40 US $ again not own gear or packing
  4. Do the two years, it takes longer tha you think to get good. Plus your lucky if you actually get an opportunity to work in a tunnel. 2 years all those dropzones will still be open and you will be a great flyer. Manchester is a good place to live.
  5. Its good to work the other leg but I wouldnt waste to much time on it. You can do that once you are flying solo and not paying a coach. Its also good that you have done research. Practice body position outside the tunnel, doing head stands with a pillow under your head, at first use the wall for support then as you get the hang of it, move the pillow to center of room and add another pillow to fall onto. Practice getting up into hd daffy position, nice and slow like in tunnel. this teaches you to get your hips inline with your head, use your daffy leg position for balance. Once you get good at that, go from daffy to straddle to opposite daffy then back again. Relax, dont rush its going to take a while, dont get frustrated.
  6. be prepared to be broke because your going to love it and will want to sell your gf to fund your addication to tunnel time. Like everyone else says just relax and listen to the instructor. The less you think and stress the better you will fly - thats why you see 4-12 year old kids out flying most other first timers
  7. 22 in a day, plus a fun jump on sunset load. That same day another guy at the dz did 25.
  8. really helpful comment. Looks like you need to grow up instead of playing around with photoshop
  9. great idea to buy some under armour (or similar brands) takes sweat away from body, stops rash, keeps you warm (or cool is you buy warm gear), like the guy before me said heat gear for warm temps and cold weather gear for the cold. long sleeve top and leggings. I prefer 'crew' neck instead of the 'mock' as it doesnt have a collar that sticks out so you can wear under other clothes.

    Plateau?

Nope never goes away and from now on you will only get worse and worse and waste allot of money becoming the shadow of the former flyer you once used to be............... Of course not, get back in there, fly, have fun, don't focus to much on getting one thing (sit to HD backflip) this will only make you more and more frustrated. Once your rocking it again, maybe try the transition again or try another HD transitions (sit to HD front?) because when you get one nailed the others should come easily.
  11. ah ha. write on there wall. They prob check that more than these forums
  12. you could prob get up to date info if you add them on facebook 'ifly singapore'
  13. A very frustrating 2 hours and 6 minutes to get to lift off. Long way to go.
  14. track that TM down and burn him at the stake for making a mistake.
