That sounds like a cool setup. I wonder if the one Strong sends to candidates is that different from a regular system. There sure doesn't seem to be a lot of relevance to a real world situation in this kind of rig. More like a canopy test rig. AMEN Brotha! What is sad is that due to all of the frivolous lawsuits out there, even legitimate ones leave a bad taste in my mouth. There has been at least 1 time recently, in which I probably, justifiably could have won a legitimate suit, probably pretty big $$. I talked to my wife, and even though we definitely need money, neither one of us could live with what the damn lawyers would make, and the fact that we would then be part of the litigous society that I just can't somach. Hey Merick and Pam, how y'all doin? Another random post from me, the poster child for currency. I feel your pain! I agree with you guys and the general consensus. You are probably safer the more jumps you can make per whatever, and all that. That said, raise your hand if you are in this for that warm fuzzy feeling you get when you're locked in the fallout shelter and no harm can befall you. I'm not. Where's the "This is supposed to be fun" forum? didn't somebody do a "posts to jumps ratio" thread around here once. I tend to think that too much academic knowledge combined with not much experience leads to a lot of opinions that are not based on reality. I am very sporadic with my jumping, moreso than Pam and Merrick, and I'll be damned if I'm going to die anytime soon, or treat skydiving like it's knitting. The fact that a decent person should help people, especially when it can save that person's life is not the issue here. The issue is that as a human with a free will, it is your responsibility to make sure that you dont die by doing something stupid. Also, you probably won't be needing those dive loops with a big ol' pilot chute up there adding drag. Not that you shouldn't learn to fly with them, but the speed they generate will be much less than with a kill-line PC. Uh, not to bring up a bad experience Dave, but us O-State fans are quite thrilled with the fact that you guys humped OU the week after taking one from us! By the way, A&M was my 2nd favorite team this weekend. (That position rotates with OU's schedule!) Congrats on the win! P.S.
