  1. It's a google driven ad. I found it by clicking on the left and right arrows at the bottom left corner of the Google Ads frame. Andy I'll believe it when I see it on YouTube!
  2. Here's a couple of mine from tonight. Handheld my dSLR so they'd have been better with a tripod along but not worth carrying around. Andy I'll believe it when I see it on YouTube!
  3. A plane? That one of them there 9 cell accuracy canopies? A C182 as far as I could tell. One was actually jumping what I thought was a reserve rigged up as a main. Had red toggles and an all white canopy. They were military too. Andy I'll believe it when I see it on YouTube!
  4. Don't know, John. Didn't get a chance to talk to them after the jump (low hop). Two postage stamp sized landing areas. One in each and one landed off. Pic attached. Know him? Andy I'll believe it when I see it on YouTube!
  5. Happy 4th! What's everyone doing? No jumping for me but I get to watch a demo at noon here in my town (DuPont, WA). I'll post some pics. Hope you all stay safe and have a good time! Andy I'll believe it when I see it on YouTube!
  6. I have those at home. I never have to touch them myself. She takes them off for me! (Fourth Andy in the thread.) Andy I'll believe it when I see it on YouTube!
  7. CS Bridge comes with PS Elements too. You can batch rotate files there without having to import them. It's also a good viewer. Andy I'll believe it when I see it on YouTube!
  8. Adobe Lightroom is everything that folks say it is which is awesome. 3.0 just came out recently. Editing 300 pictures is a snap and you can even find plug-ins to export them. I'm using a plug-in for Facebook and Smugmug. Were you using PS Elements or the full CS? I use Elements along with Lightroom for layer work and some other fine tuning that Lightroom won't do. Don't really have to switch over that often though. iMovie does just fine with videos and slideshows. Just like everything else, you're going to have a learning curve. I switched over a few years ago and it was a little painful at first but now I'd never go back to Windows. Would never even run a system that I could switch back and forth on. If so, why switch in the first place? Andy I'll believe it when I see it on YouTube!
  9. I'm going to say, "Tight as hell..." I'm packing a Sabre2 210 into an M6 now and it's tight. Better now with a hundred jumps on it but still pretty "optimal." Good luck getting it into an M5. Are you getting a new Sabre2 or are you looking for a used one? Can I watch you pack? Seriously, my thoughts were the same as you. Jump a 210 for a while and downsize to a 190. That's why I picked a M6 after talking to a Mirage Dealer. Too late to change your order? Is your exit weight 200-205? Andy I'll believe it when I see it on YouTube!
  10. Finally getting settled enough to do some work on some pics from the cross country move. Like this on in particular from Garden of The Gods during our Colorado Springs stop half way to Washington. Andy I'll believe it when I see it on YouTube!
  11. Any updates on the tunnel in Southcenter Mall area? The website hasn't posted any updates since last year. Andy I'll believe it when I see it on YouTube!
  12. There really isn't a "longer." It's over so darn fast... We left the aircraft just as the shuttle lifted off. We'd barely covered 2K before it was long out of sight. Pretty spectacular, and the sound of it is intense. Wow! I've never seen a launch in person and it always looks like it lasts so long on TV. Must still be an awesome sight! Andy I'll believe it when I see it on YouTube!
  13. They should have done a high hop & pop so they could have watched it longer Andy I'll believe it when I see it on YouTube!
  14. It could have been a Costanza Wallet Andy I'll believe it when I see it on YouTube!

    Big Snip

Right now it looks like the circular blade is stuck and they are trying to get it unfucked. I'm surprised the page isn't plastered with google ads to help pay for the mess that has been created. Andy I'll believe it when I see it on YouTube!
  16. My wife got back from Iraq a week ago and has been in Washington. She's flying home to GA tonight for a weekend visit. Wouldn't you guess that her connection in Detroit was late and then had to abort their takeoff because some lady wouldn't control her lap child on the runway. Next to come is weather delays over Atlanta so the flight was held again (still in Detroit). Now arrival is delayed to 10 pm and it was originally 8. Flight status says they are still awaiting takeoff. This weekend was supposed to be a surprise for the kids. I told them we were picking up a friend at the airport and that they had to go along for the ride. They are expecting mom next Saturday. I haven't decided if I should take the kids tonight or just have them wake up in the morning all surprised to see that Mom is home. I think it would be cool for them to wake up in the morning from her rousting them up or for them to come down and see her making breakfast. Andy I'll believe it when I see it on YouTube!
  17. That's the tone I got from reading it too. Andy I'll believe it when I see it on YouTube!
  18. A what the fuck blanket. Andy I'll believe it when I see it on YouTube!
  19. I grew up with mastiffs and both of them loved cat shit. We used to call them "cat crunchies" and could tell when they had been indulging by the bits of litter stuck to their flues. Andy I'll believe it when I see it on YouTube!
  20. Who cares why? I love the way my rig smells. That smell is associated with some really good times!! Andy I'll believe it when I see it on YouTube!
  21. Except here. This is a good place to learn. Read over Section 4, Category A, before your first jump course and it'll make the day much more understandable. Andy I'll believe it when I see it on YouTube!
  22. The M5 will not hold all 210 canopies. Look at the sizing chart on the Mirage page and you'll see that some are optimal and some are soft. I'm jumping a G4 M6 now with a Sabre II 210 main and a 218 PD Reserve in it and both are "Optimal" fit. I can feel how optimal it is every time I pack it. As "perfect" a fit as mine is, I couldn't imagine getting that volume into a smaller container (M5). Is your exit weight 215 or are you 215 plus gear? That'll put you around 245 with gear so it's possibly going to be a while until you are jumping a 210. An M6 or even an M7 might be a better option over an M5. Your instructor and Mirage dealer need to be plugged into your phone as you go through this process. I worked with Mike up at Chuting Star and my instructor even called him to discuss if it was a right fit for me. +1 that ad in the classified section that Blamey posted. Looks like a good deal if/when you're ready for the 210. Also, check the PD site for their suggested WL on the Sabre II. With your exit weight, you should be jumping a larger Sabre II. Don't rush to downsize. After a year, I haven't crossed over 100 jumps (yet) and have no desire to step down to a 190. Nobody is going to pressure you to downsize except for yourself. 23. Still no batteries for the camera, Don? Andy I'll believe it when I see it on YouTube!
  24. Couldn't find them on YouTube but the freefall scenes from The Wild Geese and High Risk are ones I always remember for some reason. Andy I'll believe it when I see it on YouTube!
  25. Here's a 10-way from last summer. Andy I'll believe it when I see it on YouTube!
