  13. I know someone posted about getting pulled over recently because of the new cell phone laws.. No disrespect, but I thought this was pretty funny.. >Subject: NEW CELL PHONE LAW... > > >New Cell Phone Law > > >I don't know if you've heard, but effective July 1, 2006 you will no >longer be able to use a cell phone while driving unless you have a >"hands free" adapter. > >I went to Circuit City and they wanted $50 for a headset with a boom >microphone for my cell phone. 14. I have been there in Papiatie (sp?) and Bora Bora.. I must admit that BoraBora was the most beautiful.. The beaches were great and the snorkeling was remarkable, but everything was very expensive.. There is a Club Med on Bora Bora and you can hang out at the bar there also.. Papiatie (sp? - still) had many more amenities but was even more expensive. I didn't think that I'd spend $13 on one beer!!! It has some more places to stay, but the city is a bit more 'business' and less recreation.. If you have the availability to move around a few hundred miles, Tonga had a lot of beautiful places and hotels and the prices were much better.
  15. Just a matter of time before the statement "I had my EYE on you' Once the plane takes off, you're gonna have to land - Might as well jump out!!

  20. Kicked her .. Sitting on the wall at the Bomb Shelter.. She walked by and was not really paying attention to me.. Just had to swing my feet a little farther to get her attention She got me back
  21. Two cats: Iris (girl) and Tony2 (boy) [named after my brother-in-law].. One rescue dog named O'Neil - we got him on St. Patricks Day. Once the plane takes off, you're gonna have to land - Might as well jump out!!
  22. First of all - I love the pic of the fire extinguisher next to the Heli-chair .. I guess if the chair catches on fire, you can save yourself Now, that looks kinda like the opposit as the question. R/C helicopter is a tool to get visual feedback about being the pilot of a real helicopter. Which is an interesting concept, but does not work in real life as soon as you turn the R/C around. Now if you are talking about flying an R/C better because you have more 'standard' controls.. I would not be interested.. I don't think there would be any way to compensate for the orientation of the helicopter during aerobatics that you would be able to process.. Hell, just learning nose-in and inverted flight with the R/C is difficult on my small mind .. I think the best approach is to learn how to minipulate the controls to obtain a response from the R/C helicopter to obtain the correct response (backwards, fwd, upside down, etc..) you are flying the machine, not trying to transpose you being the pilot.. I was out watching Danny Szabo last weekend.. He is remarkable at his age (17) and probably gonna catch his brother Allan some day.. BTW, last year I took Alan Szabo, Jr. for a Tandem after the Vertical Challange R/C Helicopter event here in California.. He is also a full-scale helicopter pilot and was very aware during the jump. Not scared at all Just my thoughts. Sorry, was that supposed to be a "yes or no" question
  23. Ahh Yes, the mail 'person'.. They get Christmas gifts and always a wave when I see them.. Now the newspaper delivery, I call all the way from the service number to the supervisor... But then again, if I don't get the paper, my bills still won't be late Once the plane takes off, you're gonna have to land - Might as well jump out!!
  24. We just bought a Dell Inspiron.. the 15-inch screen is plenty for what we do.. The price was very good and from what I saved, I bought the 3-year replacement policy.. Hint - Don't pay the full price up front, as you get close to 30 days on your purchase, Dell will call and offer a great deal on the service/replacement package..
