  1. "Speaking of Rodman...he he he...Mike Michigan did his stunts" I'm not sure if Mike did any of Rodman's jumps. A guy named John Sikrosky came in from DeLand to do it. He was there for all of the stunt jumps they did in Miami and Sebastian. You are right about them painting his arms, face and neck. How funny to see a 6'9" man walking around the dz painted like that!! It was great!! I believe John should get the credit for Rodman's jumps. He did a great job. As far as myself, I had a blast doing the movie!! I learned a lot and I met some really cool people. It is definitly something I will remember for the rest of my life!! BLUE SKIES!!
  2. Ok, I'm not sure if this is going to be a good or bad mark on my behalf, but what the heck.... I worked on hee set of "Cutaway" and I am in the movie about a doze times, or more. Ask Grogs, he's seen me! The movie was filmed at my old drop zone, Skydive Miami. Tom Berenger and Steven Baldwin did train with us and they did get their A licenses with us. Rodman was planing to jump before he left, but he got arrested with Carmen Electra and left as soon as he was done filming. The movie was a blast to do and I met some wonderful people!!
  3. I really enjoy watching Troy do all the stunts ans "sensless acts" but I don't think I'd be interested in doing it myself!! Of course, I'm not anywhere near the level of experience he is.
  4. That is a little weird. I can understand someone saying "around 100 or so" but not "50-100". That's a lot of difference.
  5. Hey Craig, I got mine yesterday!! Yours will be there soon I'm sure. BLUE SKIES!!
  6. Skreamer, if you were here, closer to me, I would be more than happy to take you up on your offer. You know I do have my D license and I am looking forward to jumping with, sooner or later! Good luck with your quest and let me know how it works out!!
  7. I can not figure out how to make the smiley faces.... can someone help me??
  8. · You name your dog "Toggles" Hmmmm... does "Slider" count?? She's my Australian Shepherd! I got a good one this weekend... You know you're a skydiver when you find tube stows on the counter in the bathroom
  9. Froggie, I know I'm a little late, but HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! And congratulations on you ground school. I thought about you on Sunday and I wondered what you were doing and what the weather was like up there. :-) Sorry you didn't get to jump, but hopefully it'll be soon!!
  10. I am only 3 1/2 hours from Skydive Dallas, but I don't know if I can make it. I have to work Friday and Saturday night, but I'll see what I can do. I'll let you know later in the week!!
  11. Skreamer, Baby, you're always welcome! I thought I told you that before..... just make sure you have plenty of time!! ;-)
  12. I'm here, I'm here!!! We finally got a break in the weather here and I absolutly HAD to go jump!! We did a rocking 12 way out of 3 Cessnas!! It was great!! Hey Sis, I am in East Texas. I was jumping in Shreveport, Louisiana but I have moved back to jumping at East Texas Skydiving Club in Gladewater. You're at Skydive Texas, aren't you? Let's get together sometime!!!

    Ripcord

I just stuffed it in my jumpsuit. I did loose one, but since I was the only girl jumping at that dz at the time, they let it slide! :-)
  14. Ok, I admit, that was funny!! But, Skreamer, why do you pick on FFF so much??
  15. That's just too funny!!
  16. And what questions were you asking??
  17. I had a little luck, much better than having to pay in, but only enough for about 4 jumps. However, Moma and Daddy had extreme luck, about 2 RIGS worth, and I mentioned to them about my price for a Cypress and it's being discussed, so.... I've got my fingers crossed!
  18. Skydive Miami is the closest DZ to Ft. Lauderdale. They are the very best drop zone I have ever been to. The regulars are great and the instructors are wonderful. The whole atmosphere is awesome. They have a Caravan, go to 13,500', and it's just a cool drop zone. They have an early bird special with discounted jumps if you get there before a certain time inthe day, but I forget what time it is and how much they jumps are. Email Fred at [email protected] and ask him any questions and he will reply to you and give you the answers. Or, email me and I will answer them for you! I promise, you won't be disappointed!!
  19. I tend to get friendly and much more bold! I like to dance, and the more I drink, the more I dance! I also have this problem with alcohol and clothing, they don't mix well for me!! ;-)
  20. My sweet baby sleeps in her gear bad in my bedroom, close to the door, so I make sure to see her when I'm packing my stuff to go for the weekend! She reminds me everyday that she wants to go play!! As soon as the rain stops here I am going to take her out and let her play as much as we can afford!!
  21. I think the funniest whuffo question I have ever heard was, "Can you breath up there?" It is always varied, like, "How do you breath?" or "How do you hold your breath for so long?" or "Does it hurt to breath in freefall?" It never fails,if I'm in a group of whuffos, which I try REALLY hard not to do too often, someone will ask that. After working manifest at a very busy DZ last year, I think that was the most asked question, besides, "Have you ever jumped?" They always got bug eyed when I said, "Yes, I have over 200 jumps." Of course that's over 300 now! ;-)
