Hey, he still got shampoo and conditioner every day and as for your BF worrying about your picture... unjustified, since all entries in the Bonfire are self-submitted or checked for permission before hand.

You can punch my geek card for having to google that reference.

At times. So I have to ask what brought this pole? It's an odd question. I'm wondering if it was freudian that you typed "Pole" instead of "Poll" in an ass thread or if it was intentional. I have fat fingers I ment to type POLL I'm very sorry. hmm... not defending or attacking anyone here but to do call BS on that excuse. take another look at your keyboard...

Skydivers are a clique Flat Flyers are a clique Free Flyers are a clique DZ Staff are a clique Regulars are a clique All that matters is how open the members are to new members. Some actively search out new members. Some just require that you approach them first. Some will let you in after you have demonstrated some qualifying feature, skill, or feat. Some will almost never allow anyone to join. Now enough talk about cliques... I prefer clits.

Need any more help

Well I've never contacted RECCO about it and since they don't publish prices, what source did you find an estimate? ( I was ball parking a few hundred since it is similar to a avalanche beacon and they are that price) RECCO only markets towards Ski Resorts and provides the detectors for free to most of them. Even if they charged $2000 lets say. 10 tandem canopies equipped at $25 dollars each brings the total cost to $2250. Recover one canopy and you've recouped your cost. Not to mention that any fun jumper could have there their own reflectors added and it wouldn't cost the DZ anything to offer an "extra service". The idea is that it is more expandable at less cost than any other option. The size and cost of the reflectors are negligible.

Don't mind him, he's just brass and they usually think they know whats going on

Cyclists, is your front brake lever on your left or your right?
rlucus replied to jcd11235's topic in The Bonfire
Brake on the right, because the clutch is on the left :) -
*picks self off of floor* HI! I wear leather pants! How you doin! This is where we need a puking icon... Wrong side of the bed again i see! I think it's sad that the only thing you have to offer is the "leather pants" thing. All I have to offer is that I'm not wearing any pants

I've thought about this at length and the best solution I could come up with is Reeco Reflectors. They are small and require no batteries. One could be sewn on the DBag and another on the risers. The "reflectors" themselves are cheap ($25 per 2 pack) then you use "detectors" to triangulate the canopy. (I believe they are a couple hundred dollars each) It beeps when you point it in the right direction. From http://recco.com The maximum range of the system is 200 meters through air and 30 meters through snow. It was designed for finding avalanche victims and is a popular attachment for ski gear (a lot of nicer jackets have them from the factory) . If your DZ decides to implement this, let me know because I'm very interested in if it would work as well as I believe it would. (and a kickback from any saved canopies would rock )

Might just have to make a trip out there. But I am pretty broke after the 4th at the Farm.
