I find this especially humorous to see that you guys seem to be masters of screwing yourselves. You guys made such a big issue about one little pissy assed sentence in Skydive Nashville's website that pointed out to the customer about the 1 800 Skyride Scam, that now you've really got a problem. I suppose the owner or whoever does that site finally got tired of you guys whining about it, so, well, I guess all I can say is you brought it on yourselves. Looks to me like that even though it needs to be re-written, All the facts in that site will just make it easier for the surfer to decide where NOT to jump. Way to go guys! I suppose that since there seems to be a realm of silence, the rumors of a Paraclete connection with Cary's companies must be true. You are the third person to ask the same question and no one is offering any real answers to this question. As I understand it, and the details are still limited, but Paraclete has a long running business partnership with the 1 800 Skyride conglamerate and Tim is long time personal friends with Cary and Ben. Now let me get this straight,, (1) In Az, Cary admitted in a court document that he knows his websites are deceptive and misleading and refuses to correct them because he "Makes more money that way", (2) Cary got sued and lost over $6m in Arizona, (3) The Cary owned conglomerate is under court order by the Georgia AG to operate legally and ethically, which they refuse to do, (4) The Connecticut Ag is on their ass, (5) Tennessee has a State law governing the misleading advertising on the web, ie the AST/Bristol website and many others, (6) Nashville just issued a court order to remove the stickers and if the info is correct that I got, Chuck Owens showed up for court and agreed to the court order, hence accepting responsibility, (7) That other town, I believe it was Murfresboro (or something like that) is looking to do the same or maybe take it to the state level, (8) Multiple news articles, all bad have ran on the company, (9) Scored an "F" on the BBB report in Atlanta, An plenty more that I don't care to set here and list, And yet you still support that criminal's business activities? I respectfully recommend that you and your friends attend your local Denial Management Course. I feel quite sure there's one near you since Cary has a Skydive Center "Near You". I recall earlier in this thread where Makeithappen asked about Mr. D'Annunzio's position on his affiliation with the criminal entities of 1 800 Skyride, but I don't recall much info coming up about that. If I understand it correctly, he does business with them on some different levels with the tunnels and other areas. Can anyone shed some light on this question? I, for one would not want someone in Washington who is associated with criminals like 1 800 Skyride or any other CQ owned entity. From what I am hearing, the legal people in Nashville have taken extra precautions to keep the sacrificial lambs from getting drug in to it, and I have also heard that they are well prepared for the Cary Shell Game. After checking out that video again, I noticed that John Hart @ Start skydiving said he does not do business with Thrill Planet/Skyride, I may be wrong, but the one time I jumped there, I talked to a tandem customer who was handing a 1 800 Skyride Gift Certificate to Manifest. I later asked another jumper if they accept the Skyride GC's, he said "Yeah, they've been doing that for a while". I had actually forgot about it, but after receiving an email last night, it reminded me of that time, so I thought I would bring it up here. I'm not sure, so can anyone confirm this? You are correct about that one being old news, but you are totally incorrect about it being not relevant or factual. That story may be oriented towards race car rides, but it bears total relevance to the 1 800 Skyride/Thrill Planet issues. And how can you assess that it is not factual? There's too many news reports out there and they are all the same, so I guess they are all "not factual" as well? It does not matter if they are selling a skydive or a race car ride, they are still scams and they are both sold by Cary. Jumpdude himself even stated that it was not a skydive, and explained the relevance as to why he posted it. What about the Connecticut Story that Jan posted? Was it Not Factual either? Your repetitive attempts to discredit everything that displays the Cary Scam is not doing anything but make you look like you are sadly misinformed about the company you are associated with or have real moral issues and don't care if someone gets screwed. Don't you mean "Scamming the customer"? Even though they may have so called DZ in Waverly, just how many of the people who actually see the signs/stickers and make that call and lose their money, actually get to go to Waverly? Maybe,,,, 2%,,, 4% at most??? That would mean that 96 to 98% either get routed to Cedartown (and that is the few that actually get their skydive.) and the rest just get screwed with little or no hope of a refund. I think what Jumpdude is trying to say here is that in spite of the attemps by the AST supporters to separate AST from 1 800 Skyride, it can't be done because they are still owned by the same person, CQ. I do see his point about not being a DZ attack, but he just did not say it in a way that was easily understandable. I will be glad to answer that question, First and foremost, I don't have any problem with Jeff, and you will notice when I posted some of the other videos, they were not all him. Secondly, if he don't want to get those kind of instances to be posted on Youtube and subsequently here on DZ.com, then don't do the back flips, cloud busting, animal jumps or whatever else he decides to do. You and he both know that since you support and defend a criminal organization, we are looking and we are going to post it. If I miss something, chances are, Billy, Napier, Matt or someone else will pick up on it and post it. So if you wonder why these videos keep showing up and they are of Jeff, well, he has seemingly become the "face" of your DZ, so if he does those type of jumps, his passengers will usually post it on You Tube, and well, We get it from there,, Non-discriminately. He just happens to be the one who keeps defying the BSR's and seems to be trying to impress someone. I've seen plenty of videos of him doing good clean tandems and I will openly say, the guy is a hell of a good TI, but the stupidness, or to be more politically correct, the poor judgement he sometimes displays overrides the good that he does.
