  1. I know what you mean, my H-moded cobalt ( where the concept behind the comp came from ) likes to open at faster speeds now. It is very solid and soft opening, perfect for all day camera flying.
  2. Many more birds this year than last I take it? The revolution grows.
  3. No stories, what happens a WFFC stays at WFFC we missed.
  4. There are some people that due to non average body sizes don't want to go through the standard various suit progression. Then have to deal with selling a suit that fits 1% of the skydiver population. A year ago there were no S3s on the used market, none. Now there are more and more available used with plenty of life left in them, maybe even more than classics and GTIs. In the future many people will be in a good used S3 that fits them rather than making the investment in a custom new classic or GTI. Current S3 owners will be putting theirs up for sale to get the next generation of suits and the used market will follow this trend.
  5. Wish you were here!!! I wish I was there, although my camera equiptment, log book, dry clothes and perishable goods don't want to go with me .
  6. The jpg titled fame just brings one thing to mind...... " One, singular sensation every little step he takes". Busted!
  7. Pilot first, took up jumping when getting access to planes was too expensive while living in europe. Love them both but can't afford to do both. Right now jumping is in the lead.
  8. Hit the tall tower before it gets a line. That place gets full but people wait on the tower until they see others do it first.
  9. Tell him the photos from our night tube freefly jump show him clearly taking out two other jumpers before he went low himself..... Photos never lie. Don't waste your time with the transvestite, he may actually like that.
  10. One of the reasons I want to get a GTi is that, one day progressing from a GTi to an S3 would be easier than from a s-fly? There's some crazy logic in my head thats come to that conclusion. Would you say this is correct ? ( the assumption not the logic!) Just thought progressing up the suits with the same manufacturer would be easier. Progression is a very personal thing some people got it easy and some have to work for it. What will make it easier for you to hop around to different suits is being current in wingsuits, have many jumps in wingsuits and be patient and take the time to learn from each flight, regardless of what you fly. This will make it easy for you to adapt to what ever wing you fancy next. And like girlfriends you can have as many as you can afford.
  11. Just wanted some peoples oppinions on what differences ( if any) I'll come up against after learning on an s-fly and transfering to a GTi. Quote Well any bird man suit is easier to put on. And any of the other suits are easier to take off the wings under canopy as you just pull the booties off your feet and pull the legs up after you deal with your arm wings. Flight principles are the same. There are some differences in the sweet body position for each but this will take many, many jumps to sweeten up. Your first handfull of jumps are just a taste of human flight. The next several hundred is were you find your way to flock.
  12. Dave that corridor gets a lot of traffic as a lot of people would rather fly themselves up and down that stretch and avoid all of that bothersome talking to ATC you have to do when flying the coast. You wouldn't believe the things I've seen in that region. Be safe bro.
  13. I bet if post a pic or vid we could help. I bet if you just see a vid or pic of yourself you will know already how to get into a better position. Sometimes its just nice to have someone to fly along side and give hand signals.
  14. I would gladly fly with you anytime Olivia
  15. Come on you guys never took the beret in the field right? Just a do-rag or a john deer hat turned backward.... no?
  16. Let's change things. Every Saturday night let's do the "family load" for sunset. A big star (as big as we can get anyway). Everyone is welcome. I'll be on it. Or video if anyone want's it. C'mon it'll be fun. Bet we can get it to formation load sizes inside of 2 months..... Carefull Guido, someone might read this and actualy expect you to follow through.
  17. Its past time, I would do it yesturday.
  18. Don't forget .. for every glow in the dark one, there's probably some guy trying to charge it up on a hot lamp or giant spot light ....RUN ! Or the lights at the RAVE..... will it be at the Mirage tent this year? I'm not going, just getting some info for the glow in the dark condom bandit.
  19. Lisa, for WFFC you will need some of the glow in the dark variety...... to help light the way for all of the golf carts.
  20. Performance flying - where you jump solo, striving to fly as far / as long / as slow as you can Both are great fun but I prefer the latter. I love it too. I wouldn't mind participating in a distance competition where the aircraft flys a standoff jumprun and the one that deploys closest to DZ wins, just like in tracking contest. Competition is good in every way it makes us all better. We did some helo jumps this weekend and it was really fun to see just how far you can get in a short amount of time. I have friends that will excel in any wingsuit they're flying, they have a preference but it doesn't really matter what , they make them all look good. I've got other friends that after one demo mock another type and to them its gospel. We will always have the gear hags out there. Absolute, black and white, this is better than that. I'm not gonna change that but I will poke fun at it. I think in our hearts we all really want the ultimate machine in terms of range, I know I do. For whatever type of jump you are on its still nice zoom away after breakoff and get killer separation and an extra 10 to fifteen seconds of flight after the others have deployed. But we don't arrive there just based on gear. If you give me Luigi's gear I still won't have the same results he gets. You have to put the effort in to be that athlete. For some it comes easier and sooner, others have to work at it.
  21. Nice Fordy! Now one a yus post a vid! I don't care who, you, Duece or whomever.
  22. While you are at it can you tell us what oumlats are for really? Will you be a shfingur from now on?
  23. Seriously, I could give a shit about float or fly and don't care to get into a debate. I love to fly my S3 or flock with friends and teach people how to fly wingsuits, not tell them which one is better or which one to buy.
