Contacts would be Jarrett Martin for the production side or me (George) for the Administrative side Email [email protected] we have individual emails but we want to centralize the point of contact R&D Firebird USA Skyventure Arizona Instructor Eloy, AZ

  5. grab the pading as close to the glue as possible. I preped at least 20 helmets and never damaged the padding. some say you can heat it up, others say put it in the fridge to make the glue super soft or super hard. i just slowly peeled it out. . 6. You have to remove everything in order to dip it without messing up your liner. therefore just rip it off and use a hot glue gun later on to put it back on. You also have to undo the bartack on the chinstrap in order to take of the buckle. http://www.cgskustoms.com/ did dozens for us in Eloy and is the official place where cookie get's theirs dipped. 7. Actually the digi camo you've posted isn't desert but ACU. That's the greenish digi cam that the US Army has / used to have. You need desert MarPat or the very rare AOR1. R&D Firebird USA Skyventure Arizona Instructor Eloy, AZ
  8. i emphasized on both. R&D Firebird USA Skyventure Arizona Instructor Eloy, AZ
  9. As a fellow sv instructor i 100% concur with Stayhigh. Sky and tunnel are 2 different things. Especially if you wanna get hurt very fast. Remember that the great Olav broke both his arms on his first session in a tunnel eventhough he had X-1000s of jumps. There is way less room for error and mishaps happen fast. And we don't wanna get hurt while spotting you. And yes, once you're mastering sitfly in the tunnel, you'll realize that you finally fall straight. 10. If they ask for pickup, what they do is pay by paypal but with a hacked account. Then they pick it up or send a courrier. When the real owner sees the transaction after a week or so he will most probably contest it and you'll have to pay back. And if you didn't send it by postal or UPS with tracking number and receipt, the paypal guarantee isn't paying your damage. So if he wants to pick it up it's cash or our friends from the PD waiting here so we can check if both ID's are the same They send you an e-mail from an address that looks like paypal's (@paypal-international.com for example) with a "user XXX has made a payment to you" type content. The payment is for more than the price of the shit you sell, they said it was an error and if you can please give the money to the courier before collection. The courier contacts you and asks to be paid via Western Union or something like that before collection. R&D Firebird USA Skyventure Arizona Instructor Eloy, AZ
  11. He inquired about buying two canopies. I told him pick up with cash or paypal with a certified address only. No answer yet, so i guess it's most likely a scam R&D Firebird USA Skyventure Arizona Instructor Eloy, AZ
  12. Hehehe... The Eloy tunnel actually runs ;-) most of the time at least remi R&D Firebird USA Skyventure Arizona Instructor Eloy, AZ
  13. the weight limit is for us instructors back and bones with first timers and spotting people. not a technical limit. with enough money and time there's nothing that doesn't fly. R&D Firebird USA Skyventure Arizona Instructor Eloy, AZ

  16. Hi everyone, would you know anyone that is dying cordura? I need tie dye fabric in different colors and back in germany noone really does it, so they asked me to check in the US. Thanks a lot. George R&D Firebird USA Skyventure Arizona Instructor Eloy, AZ
  17. Dear P, you contacted us per facebook and we answered right away. We asked you to send us the serial number of your canopy but you didn't. You didn't send us the canopy for inspection. For the reserve issue too, we asked you questions concerning the container type, the reserve type, etc and we did not get any answer. We asked you to send us pics or video but also here we did not get any answer. We take complaints that are related to any reserve very seriously, but every experienced rigger and jumper can tell you, that it is not possible to see what went wrong if you don't provide us details. Before trying to bash companies that do try to help you resolve any existing problems you should answer to their questions. We do have a bunch of experienced people here in Eloy or in Germany able and willing to help you, but if you don't give them the opportunity, then don't go out and shout simply untrue facts over the roofs. Again, i can ask you to provide us with the info we need, but it's up to you to do so. George, FBUSA R&D Firebird USA Skyventure Arizona Instructor Eloy, AZ
  18. Ask Mandy Johnston [email protected] she does hackeys for mor than half the industry and they are very affordable R&D Firebird USA Skyventure Arizona Instructor Eloy, AZ
  19. Hi, it is true that the older Cayenne light 170 and 190 had sometimes hard openings. Even though this can happen to every canopy, we have to admit that it happened slightly more often on ours. Since 2011 we have therefore changed the nose design of the 170 and 190 and haven't had any complaints anymore. George FBUSA R&D Firebird USA Skyventure Arizona Instructor Eloy, AZ
  20. Thank you Rick, we got the monkeyfists. But i had nice contacts in PM with members which probably resolves my hackey problem. Thank sou once again DZ.com R&D Firebird USA Skyventure Arizona Instructor Eloy, AZ
  21. Hi guys, do you know who's making hackeys for PC's? I know paragear has'em, but i'm looking to buy a bigger amount. Is Jim Cazer still doing stuff? Thank you for your help George R&D Firebird USA Skyventure Arizona Instructor Eloy, AZ
  22. Hi guys, well yes indeed the name Undertaker wouldn't be the best name for a canopy if we would have put it on the market. It was the name of a prototype in 2009. There were only a dozen made to test new fabrics, new sewing technology and some more features that will be used on the new canopy coming out early 2012 called the HAWX. Since it was a prototype, we left our designer the choice of naming it. And as other people said, the industry is full of names that people might not like, so we didn't really worried about that one for a prototype. 23. Firebird has it's US office in Eloy. It's where we do our whole R&D since 2 years. The canopy don't need a tso in the USanway and if it's also one of our rigs, it has a TSO23d from the FAA. You can PM for any info or [email protected] R&D Firebird USA Skyventure Arizona Instructor Eloy, AZ
  24. Firebird banned the Argus AAD too on all their rigs R&D Firebird USA Skyventure Arizona Instructor Eloy, AZ
  25. Firebird also banned Argus. Sorry, it's in german but the EASA should translate it soon.
