  1. Thanks everyone, Actually the financial and operative info is exactly what i was interested in, so thanks for the inputs. We will keep our Porter. We just wanted to have another faster and bigger plane we can use on weekends and lease for boogies. The KA was attractive to us because of the low acquisition cost and the the higher load quote plus we wouldn't have to worry a lot if the KA is standing in the hangar a few days without flying. Ok, thanks and bring more input. bs R&D Firebird USA Skyventure Arizona Instructor Eloy, AZ
  2. Hi guys, i'm looking for information concerning the usage of a King Air 90 as a skydiving airplane. I'm interested more in the financial and cost-efficency point of view. Also what turbines are the most efficient. We're operating a Porter and are looking to upgrade to a KA. And maybe does anybody has experience with the cargoliner cargo door conversion? Thank you guys in advance Cheers. George R&D Firebird USA Skyventure Arizona Instructor Eloy, AZ

I love it. Got 2, and the kick ass. Unfortunately the company has still a weird reputation due to a totally different rig and a lot of stupid jumpers. But even the biggest critics now love the rig

  7. A few pictures of our new Atomics. We're mainly Freeflying and using the CX105. Nevertheless we also use the PC1000 and Stills for Tandems or Products Pics. I customized the Padlock, so i can use both the Padlock and the Flatlock on the same cage and change beetween Top- and Sidemount with the CX. Jason will definetely hate me for the unprofessional labor, but it works fine. And as i heard, he's testing to get the same done, professionally. The helmets fits really nice, and there's enough spare room, so you don't feel Trunks Hypexe sticking in your head. I'd wish i could place two audibles inside, but that's my dual-audible mania probably. Jason has done a really good job (as usually) so i really can only say thanks and bravo R&D Firebird USA Skyventure Arizona Instructor Eloy, AZ
  8. Yeah, Load Organizers from Eloy and from some other places. Like Rob from the 1st School and Mike from the Bottrop Tunnel. We're looking forward for US Servicemen working in the area and willing to skydive in an american enviroment. DZ is USPA rated, so all your paperwork will be easy to do. Prices for members are 25€ for a FL140 or higher and get cheaper the more you jump. Due to our Lo's it is mainly a Freefly / VFS DZ, but we're lloking forward having a bunch of RW there promoting that discipline. R&D Firebird USA Skyventure Arizona Instructor Eloy, AZ
  9. Great, well, jump rprices will be around 25€ for a 13000ft. For germany good prices. But the price will decrease the more you jump. Till now it's mainly a freefly dz with former people from SDAZ and 1st School organizing. Plane is a Caravan Cargomaster which is pretty fast. Tabledance Bar, Clubs, Restaurants and Hotels directly next to the DZ. Website online soon. We're USPA and we will offer special prices to US Military personnel for AFF & Tandems. Boogies with AN28 planned in may and august. Stay tuned & thanks R&D Firebird USA Skyventure Arizona Instructor Eloy, AZ
  10. Are there any skydivers here that are stationed in Germany next to the Spangdahlem or Rammstein AFB, or Wiesbaden Army Compounds We try to gather as much as possible US jumpers at the new DZ on the former Bitburg AFB. Plane is a C208 Cargomaster. Organizers are Kim Winslow and Matt Hill from SDAZ Hope we´ll find some. George R&D Firebird USA Skyventure Arizona Instructor Eloy, AZ

  13. Sangi, i could understand your disappointment, but to us in Eloy and to us Judas, the Meow means a lot. Meow is kinda the battle call of the Eloy Crew, like Babylon have their Maou.It has the same origins, just for anglophone. It's for shure something the insiders will understand more. But it was just an idea to try to customize the messages. In the future Teams or Schools can order their Name or their call on the screen. It's just a little funny detail. 14. Ok guys, sorry that i posted a facebook link, but i didn't had the video somewhere else. But i didn't do it to convince anybody to join FB, but to look at the pimped Vigil. So it would be nice if people could continue their Facebook discussion in another threat. The change of the greeting messages don't conflict with anything involved in the life saving settings. The Messages are .bmp's and can't be changed by the customer. So it won't affect in any way the AAD's software or initial task R&D Firebird USA Skyventure Arizona Instructor Eloy, AZ

  23. Thanks guys. I just wanted him to show that he might reconsider his choice. He now thinks about putting his 135 back on, which is still kinda small. But anyway, thanks. Mods, you can close the thread if you want. Thanks. R&D Firebird USA Skyventure Arizona Instructor Eloy, AZ
  24. Sorry guys, where i am right now, internet is rare. So, he phoned back home and it's a Stiletto 107. Not a Velocity. And since i'm not a PD jumper, i wasn't sure if the Vel was made in 107 in some previous series. So anyway. No troll, and no Vel, but still a 107 at 80 kilos weight with 200 jumps. Pretty high WL. Just want ed to show him, that's not common at all. Sorry for the confusion. R&D Firebird USA Skyventure Arizona Instructor Eloy, AZ
