  2. Here ya go. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7UD1Le7DUJc
  3. I know the TI and he is very experienced to say the least. It's a precision tandem main, no brake setting which can make it almost impossible to kick out of line twists. I've had plenty of line twists on this model of canopy and usually have no issue clearing them. But I've chopped from line twists as well
  4. T shirt + $20 pair of jeans....good to go!!
  5. Zero cutaways so far. 800+ tandems all on Sigma with precision 365s. Cleared plenty of line twists and a tension knot. Out of 2,700+ total jumps only one chop and it was a toggle fire on a xfire119.
  6. Wow....now that's a nice looking glove! I like the placement of the Hypoxic! I've seen others placed where it appears you would have to use your other hand.
  7. Pretty sure we will be using CX110s. I agree the Gopro seems like a better more effective choice.
  8. What's everyone using? Both Simon Wade's and Waycool gloves look great, any opinions on either? Thanks!
  9. Paid $300 a few months ago.....about $1,000 for everything.
  10. : 23 : 1 4 Freefly : 5 Coach : 13 Tandem Vids : and my first heli jump = BEER!!
  11. I don't think you'll have any problems finding someone to jump with......lots of fun jumpers at all levels. If you do have a problem finding someone I'll jump with ya We have a really nice, chill dz and the boogie is tons o fun!
  12. Hey there! I jump at SDO in Molalla. Has he jumped here yet?? We have a bunch of fun jumpers at all experience levels. Lots of RW going on and a solid group of newer jumpers that I'm sure would be willing to jump with him. Come out this weekend and do some jumps!! You can even camp at the dz
  13. Really depends on the inspector. Most of the home inspections i've seen include testing of electrical, plumbing, heating, ect. Also they do a complete inspection of crawl space and attic areas. Some take pics of all these things and include them in their reports. For a sale you can bet he will find at least a couple things that need repair, most likely some minor dryrot or something like that.
  14. BASE.....once I saw it I HAD to do it. Started skydiving just so I could get the 200 jumps to qualify for a FJC. Funny thing I never did take a FJC course but found a mentor and got into BASE that way. Turns out skydiving is a lot of fun though, and has completely taken over my life
  15. 0 : 3 : CASE Jumped @ ralphs DZ in Estacada. One RW, one freefly, and a sunset tracking load. All in all good times Didn't owe beer but bought some anyways cause I like to drink it
  16. Happy Birthday If you go to Kapow can I tag along?
  17. I agree!! Bud, Bud light.....some of the worst beer on the the planet. Redhook Longhammer IPA or Deschutes Mirror Pond are the best
  18. MONEY!! I have four friends who want to get into the sport but the $1,700 (if you pass every jump on the first try) to go through AFF is just too much right now. Maybe if S/L was an option at more DZs more people would get into the sport.......
  19. Elsinore kicks ass!! Really fun dz with a chill vibe. I went in Jan, weather was sunny mid 60s-70s. If you stay at the casino about two miles down the road they have a skydiver discount. $50 gets you a nice room with two queen beds, flat screen tv, and the rooms have been recently updated.
  20. I was until I did a base jump Don't get me wrong though....the thought of death comes across my mind before every jump. Kinda gives me motivation to consistently do my gear checks....at gear up, before boarding the plane, and at 10k.
  21. : 13 : CASE Made my first wingsuit jump at the All of the Above Boogie.....liked it so much I did four more. Thanks Ed, Scott, and the rest of the wingsuit crew!!
  22. No reserve ride yet and I jump a Spectre as well. Had some line twists the other day.....wouldn't call it spinning but turning, was able to kick out of em. Not sure how I feel about a reserve ride though. Kinda want to experience it but really don't want to deal with a bag lock or horseshoe I always practice EP in the plane on EVERY jump, and check where my handles are under canopy. Hopefully when the day comes I'll find them quickly!!
