  1. Hey I have no doubt that L&B will offer great service but I still think I should be able to take it out of the package and just click it together and not having to ask tons of people if I seriously have to tie stuff together.
  2. I completely agree with dave. It should be easy and convenient to attach it. If I would want it the hard way I'd build one myself... By the way I already contacted L&B and they are on vacation until January. They dropped me a quick note though so the service seems to be good when they are working.
  3. Okey diabolo pilot, have you ever had a Viso? And if you did, were you satisfied with a wrist mount that you had to KNOT together? I would assume that for $180 I can get an actually nice mount and not something I have to just randomly knot together...
  4. Hm okey so I assume that I was either just too stupid or that I was expecting something good for $180 and not a bunch of crap I have to tie together. I think it's the second one. I really like the wrist mount but it's a shame that J&B fucked up how to mount the unit to the wrist band. And some instructions in the booklet wouldn't hurt either.
  5. Hey that looks great but I would like to use the wrist band with the finger ring. What is the velcro on the back/front of the finger ring thingy for?
  6. I don't seriously have to tie it onto there do I???
  7. Hey everybody I need you help. I just got a Viso yesterday and I can't put it together (as a wrist mount). I unpacked it and there is either a part missing or me and at least another 5 people are too stupid to get it working. Since L&B is on Christmas break they will receive my nasty E-mail then, and I won't be able to use it for the whole Christmas. There is no directions at ALL in the booklet how to put it together. About 50 pages on how to use it but nothing on how to assemble it. I added a picture of what I have. It would be great if the Viso using people could tell me if I'm stupid or if there is something missing Thanks
  8. Rutan was flying a C150??? That's like seeing Enzo Ferrari driving a Ford Escort. Edited to add: Just realized it was Dick, not Burt, so it's more like Michael Schumacher in an Escort. Bad example since Schumacher is driving Taxis at the moment

    RW suit

Hey - she really enjoyed building that one. YOu had a couple custom requests to make it stand out per your nickname, right? It looked pretty cool. A few other suitmakers are also now just offering the loaded competition suit as standard now. Jumping is at a whole new level - the only people I've seen going without booties or want tiny grippers are old timers that have grown accustomed to not having them (I have 20 years in the sport, so I can relate. Personally, I like all the features - but I like turning points more than just grinning and sticking my tongue out at people.) I'll let her know Hey glad to hear she enjoyed doing it. It looks awesome. I can't wait jumping it this weekend. Yeah you can tell her I would have payed extra for options if necessary. I already have mine
  10. Hyperspace by Michio Kaku The Elegant Universe: Superstrings, Hidden Dimensions, and the Quest for the Ultimate Theory by Brian Greene Haven't read either of them yet but I just ordered them. They are supposed to be really interesting. And I just decided not to make a hint about the bible
  11. Pfü just give me a couple matches and a Pilot and a good 4 way-team

    RW suit

I just got my first RW suit from Skimmer suits. Most options are included in the base price so I got them and I would have payed more if it was different. I anticipate to jump that suit for a while and I want it to be as good as possible and not having to replace it for details.
  13. So I can actually do a superman? Don't worry sitting through a video is my smallest concern... the weather on the other side is a way bigger one and an even bigger one the money

    Do you smoke?

Life is dangerous enough by itself and long term danger from cigaret gives no adrenalin kicks so I'd rather increase my risk of dieing doing something fun

    wow

And then throw it out and pour a glass of Gentleman Jack. Now we are talking...
  16. I am currently driving a 1989 Honda Accord which I bought for $800. Awesome car. I made 16'000 miles this year and except for the exhaust which was simply rusted through and my airconditioning not working no expenses. On top of that I get nearly 30 mpg. Get a Honda if you can!
  17. If you are interested PM me I can give you an example nutrition plan I made for a judo olympics contestor. Nothing usable for usual people but still interesting and helpful to see.
  18. Nah your not right there. If just protein would build muscles (and you are right there, muscles are proteins), I'd be huge by now It is right that proteins are very important, but the most important thing is that muscles can just be built up when a calories surplus exists (assuming you are a natural). When you are working out, you use the glycogens (not sure if that's the right word in english) which are saved in your muscles. As soon as you finish the training you want to replace them by eating short chained carbs, so the muscle can start recooperating as fast as possible. That is also the reason why you should wait with the protein shake. The first priority for the body is to refill the glycogen and after that the broken muscle fibers are repaird (this is then the process where you build up muscles). The creatin usually goes with the carbs because it needs some transporting matrix and carbs are ideal there. Edited because Dan was faster: I agree that forums are a great source. The thing you have to watch out for is that you are on the right forum for you. If you are overweight and just looking to loose weight, you want to be on a fitness forum. On the other hand if you want to build up mass, go to a bodybuilding forum. They are fairly easy to recognize because most of them have a steroids section. This is not saying start doing steroids, but it means that most people who are doing steroids know how to eat since that is the most important factor in bodybuilding and can give better advice on building up mass than the usual fitness type person.
  19. Hm okey to be honest I think the helmet would possibly not be the only thing breaking
  20. 6pm rice and chicken Right before training BCAA Right after training glucose or maltodextrin shake with About 1g/kg body weight possibly with creatin monohydrate. Then about 30-45 min after 60g whey protein And then about 1-2 hours after another big rice and chicken dinner. That's the way to go if you are seriously working out do build up mass. Why would you possibly want to eat a low carb snack if you want to get mass?
  21. Those superman's look awesome. I would try one if I wasn't sure that I'd do a face first landing and I can't do that since that would cratch up my new helmet
  22. I'm so looking forward to the weekend. I can't wait to freeze off my butt.
  23. Hm I don't know but I kind of count it towards a civil war when 2 million people die and most of them because of secterian violence.
  24. You might be right there sorry
  25. Yeah I do and that means Christmas jumping in Wisconsin!!!
