    FFX

I brought this helmet as a replacement for a 2KC helmet that was trashed in an aircraft emergency. I went with 2KC as the original FF1 helmet was of good quality and served me well, however the newer Side FX helmet seems to be of cheaper construction though the overall finish is good. As a result of this purchase i have decided not to jump it and use a protec instead and for the money i wish i had gone with bonehead.

  6. Bored of a 135 Katana..... I've been jumping a CF2 for four years now and fortunately for me i'm far from bored with it. Do what you like, but make sure you don,t make that Velo look like a 280 Navigator flown by a first time student like a lot of kudos Velo "pilots" do .CHOP WOOD COLLECT WATER.

  8. The only thing you can expect in life is change.. Fifteen years ago i brought into a relative no go area...now my home is worth nearly four times what i originally paid for it and the area isn't so rough anymore...gone are the drug dens and the baseball bat culture that used to exist.... If you can back out, move to an area where there are signs of renovation. Skips are a sign that things are on there way up. .CHOP WOOD COLLECT WATER.
  9. Check the link... .CHOP WOOD COLLECT WATER.
  10. I,ve read that 41% of all taxes collected in the U.S are spent on the military.http://www.globalissues.org/Geopolitics/ArmsTrade/Spending.asp#InContextUSMilitarySpendingVersusRestoftheWorld[url] .CHOP WOOD COLLECT WATER.
  11. It's normal to still be scared/nervous when starting out in this sport. My fifth jump i can still remember being butterflied up to the max thinking about nothing but my imminent death. At nearly one thousand jump it's like i can't be botherred with fear as in whats the point i know i'm going to exit the plane. Guess what i'm saying is give it time and hopefully it'll pass
  12. I'm agnostic......i believe in god in a spiritual sense not material. Open your mind and allow yourself to see. .CHOP WOOD COLLECT WATER.
  13. Recent events........especially in schools seem to prove there maybe a problem in how easy it is for nutters to legally obtain firearms.. Honestly not looked at any stats to see if there is a majority of murders/crimes being committed using legally helds firearms, but fact is,it does happen. .CHOP WOOD COLLECT WATER.
  14. CCW holders are just as likely to commit a crime as any other person. Legal gun owners are just as likely to commit murder as an illegal gun owner. Solely being legal does not mean that a person has been magically converted to the most law abiding of all citizens. Anyone of us could just as easily turn a 180 and go off the deep end for any given reason and commit a murder. A good friend of mine, Don Meese, never been in trouble his entire life untill one day in 1994. Something happened and, for some reason, he flipped out and put a shotgun in a guys mouth after he made him lie down on the driveway of his house and unloaded a double barrel shotgun in the guys mouth. He is now doing life without parole at Potosi max security prison. There is not a person alive who can say that they will never be able to commit murder. Given the right (or wrong) circumstance, anything is possible. If you can say, with certainty, what is going to happen, without doubt, in your future, how about cluing me in on some winning lotto numbers. Last time i made that arguement...when relating to urmm not liking guns well Funny how the immigrants always get the blame and not the native americans .CHOP WOOD COLLECT WATER.
  15. Not directed at any poster specificly, but how does someone know a flap on x brand container has never came open in freefall .CHOP WOOD COLLECT WATER.
  16. Ok so you're a middle class racist tosser and a spineless one at that.....your profile says so period. You're spot on with the 'class' thing tho, modest as i may be .CHOP WOOD COLLECT WATER.
  17. You know who i have a problem with.......not immigrants, but white uneducated[because they couldn't be botherred and because their white trash parents taught them that the world owes them a living]SCOATS. You know the ones that use immigration as an excuse for the fact that they're unemployable. As far as i can see most immigrants come here[UK] to try and better themselves. Some,in my area have set up small biusinesses caterring to our desire for 24/7 convienience. These buisinesses pay taxes, just the same as everybody else who works for a living, betterring the proud to be British economy. Another fact is,they are willing to fill the less glamorous vacancies that the work shy amongst us wont consider. So bear that in mind next time you're pissing on the floor in a public convenience whilst choking on a big mac. .CHOP WOOD COLLECT WATER.
  18. Like everyone has said the're all good.....personally i jump a mirage g4 for all it's worth and i,m not a big fan of javelins or pop tops in general but my reasons are more than likely unfounded....also like v3 microns alot
  19. Sorry to hear of your $$$$$woes dude....Havn't been able to jump since March 11..and to make things worse i've been staring at a shiny new Mirage packed and ready to go for the last month. Still on a brighter note,i'm about fixed and looking forward to getting back in the air

  24. Caveat- This isnt trig its piers Okay pont by point- Flying styles is great but in comparing competitors there has to be an objective means of comparing one another and this is achieved by the 'more difficult vs. less difficult' gauge we're all fairly familiar with, that the FAI uses to judge various moves. It is interesting that a single line ' minimal use of control surfaces' has now taken primacy. As there are over a dozen other gauges, why then should a single line determine 95% of the point mark up? I believe it is unwitten secondary reasons that are not on the judging criteria. Point- If there is a judging criteria, that the FAI deems as being the accepted means by which artistic competitors should be judged in a weighed manner, and if they arent being judged by that, then something is wrong. Dissilusioned- Okay, There will always be tigers and goldfish in all competition, given. However, it is different state of affairs if one of the competitors is on the FAI council. Its a bit like a policeman being on the policemans compensations comitee, distorts objective decision making a bit, doesnt it. Inspiring people, influence is certainly going to be felt left and right, up and down from all comeptitors too everyone, free flow of information and all that. Point- Having the effective head of a competitive team in a highly influential position in a subjective competition shouldnt be allowed. A member of Babylon is on the FAI council, im not going to delve into motives, however, a system of checks and balances should be in place. Inspiring people- Well, that does have the suggestion(if i read it correctly) that a degree of benevolant action is contained in all this. I wouldnt neccesarily agree. Compared to other teams, they have in fact done the least and taken the most. Compare them to say, Guano who continually organise(for free) and hook up events like Project Horizon, Babyon pale in comparison especially as they'r salaried and most others are not. Clearly everyones gotta make a living, but in terms of meaningful cotribution in a manner that doesnt involved dirrect personal financial gain(DVD's sales, shirts etc..) the guys we're talking about are pretty much at the bottom of the 'net benevolant contributors' list. Styles- We could go on for days, but in terms of something measurable and comparible there is a guide, right or wrong and it isnt being applied. .CHOP WOOD COLLECT WATER.
