    Freefly suits

You could take a look at MATTER SUITS there quite fitted which means less drag but you can always alter your body position if you need to slow down. The fabric is reasonably heavy and very hard wearing so the knees don't burn out when "stoffing it"or packing

  6. Hi,there's a video out there called FLY LIKE A PRO i've never seen it so i don't know if it contains anything on specifically about swooping but it cold be worth checking out as it is supposed to be educational .CHOP WOOD COLLECT WATER.
  7. Just a suggestion, jump with a radio so an instructor can advise you if necessary. As with AFF.May help.... .CHOP WOOD COLLECT WATER.
  8. Hi,you mention and i quote:i want to get more familiar with my canopy. Now i'm not for one micro instant saying theres anything wrong with doing hop n pops theres not,but equally you could always deploy high say 5000ft and enjoy abit of freefall to boot.Discuss this with the jumpmaster on the load i'm sure there won't be a problem.i.e deploying higher affords a longer canopy fight and more time to familiarise yourself with the canopyJUST ANOTHER PLAN B .CHOP WOOD COLLECT WATER.

  10. Firstly i'd like to say thanks.secondly my swooping mentors at Ampuria Spain have been watching my landings and setup/approach including video of.The've recommended a 129safire or a similar size stilletto however as canopies don't come cheap and i don't wanna die[lifes too much fun] what i'd like to know if canopies like the samauri/colbalt/vengence are worth a trying without getting outa my depth .i have a little over 400jumps which i consider low experience.Just trying to add a little more background as i'm still confused as to canopie selection and don't wanna be too limited in choice when considering canopies to demo before i put my money where my mouth is,so to speak..Again thanks alot guys for your help so far
  11. I've demoed the crossfire129,stilletto135 & the safire129 although i opened high and had a good play on all three canopies i didn't do any thing rad near to the ground .Liked the response of the stilletto though!Loading the sabre at ±1.4 .CHOP WOOD COLLECT WATER.
  12. I was slingling myself around the isle of man on a v.fast motorcycle ,drinking hard, and doing my upmost to get laid just in case my luck ran out... .CHOP WOOD COLLECT WATER.
  13. At present i'm jumping 150ft2 sabre and executing 180 front riser hook turns for landing for approx my last 100 jumps.i've taken time and advice from my mentors in canopy control and i am now considering my first elliptical wing in the 129-135 size range.i've recieved varying advice as to what to spend my cash on.Taking into account that i don't want to over stretch myself i.e run before i can walk any suggestions as to what next.Recommendations to date Crossfire/safire/stilletto/spectra/samuari.etc .CHOP WOOD COLLECT WATER.
  14. Personally i like the parachutes de france stuff i.e Atom millenium which has served me very well over the last 18months.however i think there new Legend container is even better possibly the best freefly friendly container on the market at present in my[possibly biased]opinion..***don't ask the monkey when you can talk to the organ grinder. .CHOP WOOD COLLECT WATER.

  17. SYMBIOIS SUITS ARE GREAT IN THE WINTER BECAUSE U CAN WEAR LOTS OF WARM STUFF UNDER THEM TO KEEP WARM.BUT IN TRUTH YOU SHOULD SIMPLY BE ABLE TO FLY YOUR BONES WHETHER OR NOT YOUR WEARING FLITESUIT,MICHICHAN,VERSACE OR LEVIS.. .CHOP WOOD COLLECT WATER.
  18. Exellent dropzone with kicking facilities. Superb bar, bunkhouses & food, not to mention a efficient manifest & fast climbing let 13-14000' most lifts can,t wait to return as in my opinion this has got to be one of the most progressive freefly zones in the UK though jumpers of all abilities are made to feel at home.
