  1. My next question is staffing. I wonder if they are going to train up staff that are already employed on the ships (entertainment staff?) who may multi-task in other roles or whether they are going to recruit from the pool of tunnel instructors that are already trained to work in the "regular" tunnels. 3. I'm guessing this is Wetherspoons Richard? I've always wanted to try an Abita since I saw the Japanese jazz fan buy one for himself and Antoine in a Season 1 episode of Treme and I looked it up. Skydiving Fatalities - Cease not to learn 'til thou cease to live

  5. Also, cheap in the short term, but maybe not in the long term. With the small cameras now, there are simple ways of cutting away the snag point rather than the whole helmet awhich can add several hundred dollars to the loss. Something like this can be adapted to cutaway the mount and therefore the camera. Skydiving Fatalities - Cease not to learn 'til thou cease to live
  6. There are several threads on www.ukskydiver.co.uk regarding this subject. It's a confusing and often changing . this spreadhseet tries to summarise but not sure how up to date it is. I had previously purchased cover from ihi Bupa but never had to use it. I've previously had Sky-Cover's Personal Accident policy but now they have a policy that includes medical cover, I'd probably consider that in the future. 11. I'm not from Australia and have no local knowledge of the dzs, but I did a quick Google and came up with a big DZ that I have heard of internationally. Looking at their website, it appears they do offer AFF L1 only. I suggest you contact the DZ directly rather than going through a middle man. 12. I debated whether to put this in incidents but since there were no injuries and it is tandem specific, I decided to put it here. Taken from the Incident Reports (Item 4) of minutes of the BPA Safety and Training Committee held on the 1st of August 2013: I don't know much else than is reported here except that it wasn't a Sigma. 15. The BPA produced a Safety Poster along these lines a few years ago (actually worded by Andy Scott) and are displayed around most of the DZs. Actually, we have a whole series that might be of interest. Skydiving Fatalities - Cease not to learn 'til thou cease to live

And seeing as you are in the UK, they are most definitely classed as students here, and not passengers! They get some training whether they want it or not!
