After I fight a malfunction, cutaway, and am faced with landing in some one's tiny backyard I want to make sure I have all the help I can get. No don't sell it. First, economically, your going to get your ass handed to you when you sell it. Second, 1.07 is a pretty conservative wing loading, however you must balance that with the fact that the canopy is under a 150 so it is also consider high performance. It is a great canopy, and your going to like it tons more than your saber in my opinion. Just wait till your comfortable with the idea of flying it. It is funny how much variety there is between different pilots. My opening on my pilot 170 are closer to the range of 600-800 feet, with the longer snivels more common. My openings are soft like yours, but my friends with smaller sizes (experinced jumpers and packers) get slammed by their pilot. Go figure. Overall I am very happy with my pilot. I really like the glide I can get out of it. The opening may be long but they are predictable, almost every one of the 130 opening on my pilot have been practically identical to each other.
