Real country ended about 15yrs ago, when they decided to sound like rock bands. Southern rock, rocks. With todays' country, you can't here any difference between one song and the next. I could do the research myself, but I have heard stories. Let's say you work a job earning $50,000 a yr. Enough to live well. One of your relatives leaves you a business worth $2,000,000. This is inventory and day to day operation. The govt. says we want 50% of the face value.You have two choices. Sell the business and take your half, or get a loan to pay the govt. thus putting you into debt. Breaking up the business potentially puts many people on the street. Many, who may have invested their lives in the business. In the long run, the taxes collected from a functioning business is more than a one time gouge, that ends the business.

So you are proposing a radical change in the way things are run by the government. We want to take money away from those who earned it and give it to those who didn't. We want to eliminate all trace of God and religion. We want to get rid of anyone who opposes our program. Been done. Didn't work. It only took 70 yrs. to figure it out.

Lots of functioning businesses, and financially sound estates are torn apart by inheritance tax, thus leaving the recepients scraping to hold things together. Seems counter productive to me.

Does saying that you can't get a leg up, so you spend all of your life collecting free money from a welfare system paid for by the "rich", count as benifiting from the system. I would say , that's 100%benifit. Therefore, they owe the country the most.

We can find examples of the worlds' attitude toward us, right here in this country. I hear it all of the time out of the mouths of the press and the Democratic Party. Terms like; the more fortunate, winners of lifes' lottery, and the filthy rich. Those who can't or refuse to achieve, despise those who do. They don't want to actually solve the problem by doing something for themselves. They just want to punish those who get ahead. Every country in the Middle East is sitting on a fortune, yet, they remain second rate nations. That's got nothing to do with the US. If socialism were the end all to the world problems, every person in the Middle East should be rich. I'm sure that Europe is filled with people, who, if given the opportunity, would embrace capitalism, but when the state takes 60% of your wages it's pretty hard to keep a positive attitude toward self motivation. Pretty soon, you have a whole society who have a GAF attitude toward self improvment because most of it will be taken away from you to support a bunch of bureaucrats who have no real purpose in life, except to make yours miserable. I'm sure that if the liberals in this country had free rein, we could be a bunch of miserable losers, also. Then the world would be happy. No, they wouldn't. They'd be pissed because there are no more free handouts.
