  1. GIVE ME A BREAK! From what I see on TV, these people live their lives on the street. If this guy was in the area long enough for someone to rat on him, and then we were able to follow his spiritual advisor; Now there's a joke; for two hours with a drone, his wherabouts wasn't a total secret. Either take he and his cohorts out, or get out of town, knowing that the fire is fixing to fall.
  2. Civilians on the street probably knew who he was, knew his comings and goings, and turned a blind eye. Guilty by complicity. Maybe one of them should have taken him out personally, collected $25 Mil. and gone to Disney World. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If there's a meth lab across the street from you, and you choose to ignore it because "It's none of your business", On the day that the bust goes down, and shit starts to happen, anything that happens to you or your property is caused by complicity. The same would go for harboring a known fugitive. Some of those people looked at him as a Jesse James or a Pancho Villa. If you don't want innocents killed, get them the hell out of the way.
  3. From what I'm seeing in today's thinking, self control is old school. I personally drive with a minimum of a 3sec, gap from the car in front of me. What really pisses me off, is to let someone in at an entrance ramp, knowing that traffic is tight, then watch them shut someone else down at the next ramp, so that they can't get in. Those people need to be eliminated , at least from the road.
  4. Unless both of you are on the same page most of the time, One wants to climb a mountain, the other one wants to visit museums.
  5. Did it at the age of 43. Took my pittance of savings, loaded my 77 toyota pickup, spent 10 months touring the western half of the country, and visiting relatives. I've never had any regrets. If your good at what you do, picking up where you left off is no problem. Go ahead. Just step out of the door.

That's about as useless as screendoors on a submarine. What a waste of human skin.
  8. Just get a really good cup of coffee. It'll help keep the smile on your face all day.
  9. Spelling and punctuation should be important to anyone trying to communicate by the written word. I personally enjoy the use of words to get a point across. Like, ya no wa am talkin abou.
  10. I am aware of the largness of the mission. I'm just having my own little party. Love ya, man.
  11. Always the critic. I'm speaking of Osama bin Laden.
  12. Praise be to Allah, or maybe Thank God. One down one to go. You can run, but you cannot hide.
  13. Do you think that discounting the wisdom of elders is wise. I don't know your age, but I could say that you are too young to know what you're talking about. That you're thinking only from an emotional point of veiw, instead of a logical one.
  14. Probably because all of the Yankees keep moving down here. Global warming just isn't kicking in fast enough.
  15. Have you observed a wild herd of anything. All of the butting heads, and ripping, tearing, and strutting is about who's going to get the pussy. The rest of the poor fellows just have to suck it up until they can kick the big boys ass. Maybe, they're just practising for the day when they can get some.
  16. I willinglly accept the numbers as they are presented. My problem with the whole societal attitude is that we have thrown 4,000 yrs. of wisdom and tradition out the window in the last 40yr. just to satisfy the pleasure of the flesh. Going out and getting a shot of leg, and for many people, that's all it is, is like going to the store for a six pack of beer or a pack of cigs. I'll admit that in the early 70's I had my share of decadence. At some point though, the light has to come on. My problem with the educational system, and it is run by a liberal, socialistic mindset, which is set on the moral destruction of this country, is that, concerning sex eduacation, they discount the best, as being the least, and totally unacheivable. I'm talking about celibacy until your are able to make a rational decision about such things. I would say that very few teenagers are. Under that supposition, why would they pay any more attention to other means of protection or prevention? Allow me an anology. The dam has been breeched, and standing on the downstream side , throwing pebbles at the rushing water, will never solve the problem. Until we go upstream and shut off the flow, we will never solve the problem. The reality ,from your point of veiw, is that people are not going to stop having casual sex, so we must oblige them by finding a cure. I don't mean to sound callous, but if a cure is not found in the next few years, there will major death tolls, especially in third world countries. It's sad, but maybe that's the wake up call we will need to get our thinking back on solid footing, and start living life at a little slower, more sensible pace, instead of grabbing all we can, just because we can.

What are we going to do? Teach college freshmen how to read, write, spell, and do math?
  18. I am totally in agreement, concerning the numbers.
  19. I don't think dry humping between a couple of 6mo. old dogs counts as homosexual activity. No self respecting adult bull is going to let another one shove it up his ass.
  20. Sorry that I have to draw a picture, but two men having sex does nothing for the procreation of the species. You forgot to ask about common sense. If you have sex with someone who's had sex with ten other people, who have had sex with............ Hopefully, you get the point. I beleive that was explained to me in boot camp in 1971 concerning vd.
  21. Quote -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I just can't figure out why this disease is spreading -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What exactly does misinformation have to do with anyone getting aids. I would say that disobeying the laws of nature, and of common sense is far more likely. Go back and read cause and effect.
  22. It should have happened a long time ago. The horse has left the barn.
  23. Careful with the casual comments there, my friend. The hammer is fixing to fall!!
  24. I would like to apologize to you and anyone else out there who finds my comments, and attitudes offensive. I am truly sorry that this burden has been laid upon you. We do live in a world of cause and effect. It has been my experience in life, from the simplest mechanical problems to complex personal problems, that the effects may be masked for a time, but until the cause is dealt with, the problem is never going to be solved. As for the scourge of aids ,I am now speaking as to a societal problem. I hope for your sake that they find a cure tomorrow. At what point do we address and deal with the base cause of the problem? I don't think I have to go into the original cause of the problem. To deal with the problem in the long term, one must deal seriously with the cause. Unlike many other diseases, which we as a society haven't had a problem quarentining until the problem was solved, this one also involves the emotional part of the mind, i.e. love, lust. If we as a society are given the responsibility of dealing with, and eliminating the effects of the disease, then we should be given, for lack of a better word, help in dealing with the cause. This is not going to happen in today's society, bacause taking personal responsibility of one's actions has pretty much been done away with. Everyone has an excuse for bad behavior of all kinds, that adversly affects the lives of those around them. Until this mentality is dealt with across the board, society as a whole is headed down the tubes. As for myself, the buck stops here. There are other reasons for my celibate lifestyle, but that's another thread, and I don't need anymore of your ire I'm starting to feel pretty beat up. Can we talk about people who stuff their faces everyday at McDs. and complain about having to buy two seats on an airplane. Just another of my peeves. Peace?
  25. This is typical liberal mentality. We will throw up roadblocks, but we won't actually do anything to stop the problem. If I had the kind of money you people look for, I'd have nurseries set up to put the diversity back into the land, instead of just throwing up my hands and saying it can't be done. If we can spend billions on the space program to see if there's water on Mars, which, BTW, will never do us a lick of good, we could surely figure out how to reforest a few million acres of jungle. After all, it is a renewable resource. BTW, I have personally planted several thousand seedlings. Step 1. shove a shovel into the ground. Step2. move the shovel back and forth to form a hole Step3 Place seedling in hole Step4 tamp dirt around seedling with foot. End of process. Come on Boys. Less talkee, more workee.
