They have some sort of "yellow card" thing now. I think you have to do all the requirements on it weather you do AFF or static line. Personally I did AFF and liked it that way. Both ways work but from what I have seen people learn faster doing AFF. I may not agree with what you have to say but i'll defend to the death your right to say it.

Why are all these people saying 15 is to young? And that "how will she handle a life or death sitituation?" Don't you people realize that for the most part younger people (to a point, obviously not little kids) often have much better reflexes and learn faster than old folk. Why do you think most of the pros in extreme sports are teenagers? Ok yeah, a lot are older but most of the older ones were already pro by the time they were teenagers. I ended up having a pilot chute in tow on my 32nd jump several years ago. Ever since then my back has never been the same (due to the terminal reserve opening) Anyone eles ever go through this? If so did you mess up your back? If so how did you deal with it? Or where you just like me and ignored it. All I know is this sucks. My back cracks just from breathing. And sometimes (mabye once a month or even a little less) my chest pops. I know this is from the terminal reserve deployment because the first time it ever happend to me was the night I had the pilot chute in tow. Im tired of the pain. HA! Very funny. Espcially after what we just went through with our platoon sgt. this morning. Platoon sgt: "if you took your class A's to alterations yesterday pick them up today during lunch." ME: "Sgt., when you turn them in they aren't ready to pick up till 1600 the next day." Platoon sgt: "I don't care. You better have them." ME: "But sgt, 1600?" Platoon sgt: "FINE! Everyone have your class A's at 1800 in front of the barracks today!" So if im getting this straight we get chewed out because we have less than a days notice to have our class A's ready for inspection and then told to pick them up when alterations is not going to have them ready? somewhat on the same topic. The neighbor to my girlfriends brother's apartment just burnt down last weekend. How you might ask? Well, a 15 year old kid set the couch on fire (on purpose) in the middle of the hall trapping his mom and sister who was only 9 years old. Well, less than a month before im deployed. When I joined the Army I didn't really take into consideration how much I would miss skydiving. (when I joined I figured I would end up getting deployed) Yeah somewhat selfish of me but hey....can't help it. I will miss my family too but I can always call. Not like I can pick up the phone and skydive. Well, don't know what the point of this post is right now....guess it's just that im really going to miss being at the dz and jumping. UNLESS we get hit by a meteor before that happens. Also, the moon is moving away from us at 1/4 inch a year if I remember right. I took 4 flights on my vacation last month. All of them went good. Well, on the last flight back to fort polk the screener saw that I had a rig and called his supervisor. He comes up and looks at my rig. He then looks at me and asked if I was DB Cooper. Said nope, he said have a good day.
