  3. I go to "add/remove programs" on my computer, and I am trying to remove MSN Messenger, right? It keep saying that it cannot verity the patch, and wont let me just delete it. My OS unfortunately is windows, so I dont feel I have any raw delete power with this OS. Any help as to getting this app. of my damn PC?
  4. Easy player. 3 jumps and you are HD? Cool, now try and take a grip...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAHAAAAAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
  5. Super Dave has been drinking ass milk. NO wonder!!
  6. I stil become VERY anxious and nervous until I leave the plane...it all goes away after that...I am glad I still get scared. It keeps you in check!
  7. Or put another way, "Parachutist" only covers skydiving whereas "Skydiving" covers all parachutists. Peace, -Jeff. Shouldnt that be the other way around
  8. That's your opinion. Mine is that the man prevented grave injury or death to an innocent and possibly himself. Is it "justifiable" for the criminal to be able to beat the clerk to death, too? Right on. I am glad to see that the man made well aimed shots. I wish I could have been there to witness it myslef. He helped someone out who works hard and possibly makes low wages as a store clerk. They could have had children, and how bad would that have been if Mom/Dad couldnt make it home because someone took their life, or SAVED it!!! This is something to rejoice about...not sit around and analyze why the robber should be alive, instead of dead. Thats for the court system to rule out. He acted within limits, and he was lawfully correct. Why do we care so much for the criminals these days?
  9. The security on base here in Va Beach. They have cost me a lot of money recently!!! To the chipper!!!
  10. God, no shit. My mom, dad, brother, girlfriend, and co-workers, all day, " Wade, I have a computer problem!!" READ THE F*uking BOOKS!!!!!!!!!! I READ THEM!!!!!
  11. I was wondering if any of you all have heard of or participated in Geocaching? I have done a few, but the other day, I went online and started looking for more to find. Its really fun for me, and thought I would venture out here in the Bonfire, and see who does this sort of modern day treasure hunting? www.geocaching.com
  12. This response should be the last one, I hope. It pretty much summed it all up! Keep that head level, take some time off, and enjoy something else while you heal. Like Geocaching. wade
  13. You will never not get back from a long spot with a Sabre 2 unless it is a horrible, horrible, spot, like miles, and miles out. Try a Katana with a long spot. Your entire back and shoulders will be sore for days after the weekend due to the amount of active piloting you have to do to keep her as floaty as possible..lol..
  14. I have a Sabre 2 135..and I have damn near all my jumps on it. I love it. I wanna demo a 107. They are rockin, overall great canopies you can fly with wing-suits, or do whatever with. Some may say other canopies to get like that spectre, but for the more "higher-performance 9-cell" without going elliptical, the Sabre2 is it my man. Be safe. Hook that shit low!
  15. Quote -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In Reply To: I always move my chin downward touching my chest in case I get slammed. This is done more to avoid neck injury though. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- That's about the worst thing you could do. With 25lbs of head hanging out in front of your spines neutral position if slammed by a 10 or 12g opening you are seting yourself up for a cervical fracture.(broken neck) keep you head neutral above your shoulders that is the way your spine can most absorb impact. Another great point. I hate how people will lay their head down while in the opening sequnce. The spine was not intended to take force with it bent. Keep the head up, or look upwards if you can!!
  16. Without knowing the extent and location of his injury, as well as the prognosis, along with having a background in neurology, I can't see how you can possibly make the recommendation that any modern canopy will be OK to jump? Kevin - if you're working with one of the best people in the field, give him the data and then trust his judgement. If you tell him the average G-forces experienced over opening, along with average time and what it can spike to in the event of a hard opening he'll be able to give you some good guidance - but it'll probably be 'I wouldn't recommend it until you're completely better'... Remember, the sky isn't going anywhere. It'll be there when you're fully healed, but possibly aggrevating a serious brain injury doesn't sound like a good option to me. I'd be thinking 'what if a worst case scenario happened' rather than 'how can I get back in the air fastest'... Heal fast. Could not have said it better. The sky is not going away. Let your youth be your healing friend, and relax with the rushing back to the sky. On a dside not, the Sabre 2 is not the best for "soft" openings. My Katana had better openings than my sabre 2. Get a Spectre man. Way better. dacron lines too...
  17. Looks like the really fast plane the Golden Knights use..the Folker?
  18. Consult any Raeford skydiver/ Golden Knight
  19. Out of the 71 wing-suit pilots, which suit showed the most attendance? Birdman, Phoenix-Fly, Tony Suits, etc..?
  20. If I have a mal, I use the right hand for both handles. Reaching over for the left is not a big deal for me. I am very flexible. As far as the fatality waiting to happen, The camera is easy to grasp, and its all under control.
