  1. Its all starting to make sense. Timing is everything. Good job on Raefords part
  2. Still though...for GW..they WILL have to extend it. At 100X300, he will have to go ground-water-ground...its just too short..
  3. I am going to get slammed for this, but the honest truth is that the average Raeford skydiver is not ready for it. I know damn near half of them....There will be many, many wet, reserve-repacked needed personnel. Rob is thinking, "yeeeessss...get wet....get very, very wet" Oh, Hey guys!!!
  4. I have changed a tire before going to an interview. Had the creased pants, tie, nice shoes. Did it with just the usual dirt on the hands. Thats it though. I am glad I knew how to do it!!
  5. Yeah. I am a bit lost on the location. Is it going to be on the windsock side, or the other...thats a long walk if so, " A long walk is better than a short crawl" so they say... From the flags and where it was pointed out last weekend it will be here. (see attachment) Wow. THE best answer I have ever gotten on DZ.com. No frills. Thanks brother
  6. GW is serious. I don't know if I am going to that swoop pond after all. Where does a man like this dwell? Does GW sleep?
  7. Harry, please address Mr Windmiller as "Sir" or "Mr.". Addressing him as "One of the Greatest Swoopers of all times", while absolutely true and warranted, makes him just a bit uneasy... due to the fact that he is a very very humble person. Also, please try not to use his name in vain as He hears all. And when He hears His name, it distracts Him from finishing the final 5th volume of his book aptly titled "The Memoirs of a Swooper", in which Mr. Windmiller tells it how it is. That is how to become a world class swooper in two years or less and how to turn your canopy. Here is what some of the greats had to say after reading the first 4 volumes: - I never knew how deep the game really is. The amount of knowledge crammed into the first 2 volumes is INCREDIBLE. - Ian Bobo, PD Factory Team - With unparalleled wit and good humor Mr. Windmiller describes the techniques and tells the incredible stories of how he struggled to get to where he is today. The wisdom of volume 3 made me rethink my life and career choices all over again Craig Girard, Arizona Airspeed. - Simple. Powerful. Life changing. Hillary Clinton, former US Senator - I am retiring next year. I am glad, otherwise i know he'd stump me. But in a humble and respectful way, you know? - Jay Moledzki, PD Factory Team Sorry for digressing and promoting the Great Book, i just hope you all get to read it, it will change your life. I did mine.... Back to the topic, though! With the new pond and the tunnel Raeford is going to be the Premium US DZ, worthy of and able to accommodate GW's swoop practice. Just a suggestion though... Could they make the pond 600 feet, so that GW can do dirt-water-dirt? Goooood LOOrd!!! HAHAHHAHAHAHAH Thank you for making my day!!! I looked all over for the books, though! Are they of rare print? Wade
  8. One time at Raeford, GW drank 4 "Go-Fast" energy drinks, and didn’t even flinch. I am serious. He just got on the plane, swooped like a caged lion though his hand-made gates and the look in his eyes when he was off the rears, is something I will never forget. GW has no toggles. It’s unbelievable to see someone fly a canopy with no control lines. He has been spoken about as "unstoppable" -Wade
  9. I pull out the anal beads...the "thunder rock" series...the winter time tightens me up.
  10. For real man..I just roll video, and use a point-and-shoot in mid air, and when the jump is over, I switch hands and pull with my right, while holding on to the camera in my left. Never dropped one camera that way, and the pics are awesome. I use the "auto" stabilize feature and it doesnt show "shutter shake" or anything. I paid 89.99 for that camera, and I have about 200 tandems taken that way!!
  11. Quotethe Sabre 1 isn't very forgiving of sloppy packing, and it still will open more briskly than the stuff that you're probably used to. I've actually come to appreciate the brisk openings. It's nice being able to pull at 2500 and be open well above 2000. " Back breaker!!!! pull at 2500 and get an open canopy well above 2000!!!! HAHHAHAHA
  12. Yeah. I am a bit lost on the location. Is it going to be on the windsock side, or the other...thats a long walk if so, " A long walk is better than a short crawl" so they say...
  13. Sorry bro..its a flavor for some, and others not.
  14. Thanks you all. I know the ass milk is a threat. It creeps on you. I have heard of "Anal Ease" that you can buy. It’s a crème where it acts as a numbing agent for that area. I just want to play it safe with first time technique. I hear it is rewarding if practiced properly. If you hit the glands in there just right, it a feeling beyond belief...
  15. I am trying to venture out and try some new things with the ladies. Any past experiences with anal beads, and first time users... Size, Gauge, material? Any help is greatly appreciated...
  16. Hey Man!! Skydive Suffolk, as Mr. Bones said, is open too! I am not sure if you are a Marine, but I was one and would love to share some stories with you. I have 2 friends coming from Le June this weekend to do AFF, and 2 doing Tandems. We are having a bon-fire, live music, and the PAC-750 will be flying hot all weekend. Cooking out starts promptly at sun-down, and the fridge is packed with good beer (Simon can attest to this). Our sleeping areas are heated, and cozy. Freefly, RW, CRW, Spaceballs...we are rocking it this weekend! Not to mention, Skydive Suffolk has THE cheapest jump tickets in Virginia. Hands down! S/F wade
  17. Quote "How about the stupidity of following a deity for your whole life when you could actually be spending your time doing something useful for the world, humanity and our existence....?” This makes me go back and remember that I fought in the military to defend people who say things like this. Horrible. You got it coming, man.
  18. This is what I am talking about! Skills test! I don’t have that kind of money but I am glad to see that some people do and are willing to put it on the line for the ultimate challenge. I hope you find your man! I hope you out carve whoever wants to try! This is BOLD brother! Good luck. You have to post the video, and make sure there are camera men filming it holding the streamers. I have done many pylon jumps, and I can at least set a great base for you and whoever, if this bet goes down. I have lots free airline miles. You let me know, and I will fly out for this bet. I will hold a great base. Peace man!
  19. Come home man! I just bought some anal beads and condoms for us. I haev some hard liqor too. stay safe you stallion, you
  20. A Mirage is like a wet dream...except on your back. It’s smooth, comfortable, and always gets you guessing how in the world this happened...me ending up with the best rig on the market! Ward Hessing will get you a superior product. Hands down. Mirage is just engineered with the most up-to-date technology, and has way more research and development in the free-fly department than any other rig. Don’t play around with your life. Get a Mirage soon
  21. Forgot to ask..when you flip the canopy upside down like that, does that make it pron to off heading openings, since you are all ready inducing a half-line twist?
  22. In that video, aren’t you supposed to flip the canopy upside down after you have it laid on the ground with the tail all wrapped around it? Then skip the folds he did on the side, and just roll that sucka into the bag, just like a “sleeping bag”? Curious.
