From the SIM 5-1 H. Canopy collisions 1. The best way to avoid a collision is to know where other canopies are at all times. 2. If approaching a jumper head on, both canopies should steer to the right.

30 years after high school ran into my fith grade girl friend on Facebook. We decided to hang out and be friends. Still hanging out, more than friends three years later.

Been there and done that twice (fixer type). I never dropped my standard, but definately changed it when I realized that I wanted someone who wanted me; not needed me and visa versa. Of course it took damn near 50 years to get there...

I stand corrected.

I found this in History and Trivia. James is next to last on the right. We last visited with James and Jean at LP. Always liked jumping or just chatting with them.

When will you be there? I will be in Arkansas and am thinking about heading over to WTS May 7th and 8th. -
Although I'm not ready to jump a camera, I am interested in the idea. I haven't seen this one as yet at a DZ. I'm looking for opinions on this one. It is not a 1080p HD like the Countour or GoPro, but it looks like it has a lower profile than a GoPro has (I see people always bumping them on the ceiling and door) and I think it would be possible to make a box to reduce snag hazzard. I like the options it gives for various mountings and the on/off RF remote ability. http://www.driftinnovation.com/

Well since I am an only child, I would say that we all get along GREAT!

Yes jumping would be the only thing new. It is a large island, but I needed to mention the possibility of landing off. The few Dz's I have been to have less landing area than what could be provided here and to be quite honest you wouldn't want get your gear wet in this lake anyway, since it is the Salt Lake... Thanks for that info CSpenseFLY. Those are some things I can pass on to her. A limited idea may be the best possibility if there is any at all. I would like to hear more info positive and negative. Thanks again

I recently had a non jumping friend attend a boogie with me and on the drive home she wondered if it would be possible to have a ‘Balloon Boogie’? She works for the state DNR and wants to present the idea to them for a balloon festival they have every year. She thinks it may boost attendance to the event. So it would be a state sponsored event. I personally have never jumped from a balloon. The festival is held on an island so the possibility for off water landings is possible… So I would like your thoughts on the idea, suggestions, etc. Here are some questions to start with. How willing would balloon operators be and what fees and licenses (B+) would they expect? What would you be willing to pay? How far would you travel for an event like this? FAR and SIM issues? Anything else you all may think of would be good to know. Thank you in advance.

I think the best time of my marriages (2) were when I was getting the silent treatment. Nothing like peace and quiet...... Although my enjoyment of the silence seemed to get me into more trouble... Go figure.

Who's going? I haven't seen any post on here this year.

Wow I wonder how they managed that? And why only 20 jumpers per load?
