  1. Only if you intend on carrying a concealed weasel. I often carry concealed in my pocket. Are you sure you're not confusing the weasel with a Trouser Trout? I think the latter only requires a permit if it exceeds a specified maximum length. G. Jones "I've never been quarantined. But the more I look around, the more I think it might not be a bad idea."
  2. So it was a deceased Weasel named Marten? Was he circumcised?? If so, will there be a "Hate crime" enhancement on the original charges? G. Jones "I've never been quarantined. But the more I look around, the more I think it might not be a bad idea."
  3. But did he have to demonstrate proficiency with a Gerbil to obtain the permit? G. Jones "I've never been quarantined. But the more I look around, the more I think it might not be a bad idea."
  4. Did I read that right? SF has a ballot initiative to criminalize the circumcision of dead Weasels??? Would the penalty be greater for using a circumcised dead Weasel in an assault? Who would be granted enforcement authority; ASPCA or PETA??? This could get messy. G. Jones "I've never been quarantined. But the more I look around, the more I think it might not be a bad idea."
  5. Damn nice shooting there John! Nice collection of boom-sticks too. Carry on. G. Jones "I've never been quarantined. But the more I look around, the more I think it might not be a bad idea."
  6. AS IF That is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO not ever gonna happen!!!!!! It is astounding to me Jeanne, that you seem to have no trouble at all understanding my posts, while some others can't comprehend the simplest of statements. Regards, Greg G. Jones "I've never been quarantined. But the more I look around, the more I think it might not be a bad idea."
  7. It's a good thing then, that your opinion is totally irrelevant to me. Professional soldiers are doing their job. Don't like it? Do something about it besides whining on the internet. G. Jones "I've never been quarantined. But the more I look around, the more I think it might not be a bad idea."
  8. LOL. Hi Jeanne; I'm really not sure. I've only caught a brief whiff here and there as they run by heading away from a fight. G. Jones "I've never been quarantined. But the more I look around, the more I think it might not be a bad idea."
  9. Reading is fundamental, but I'll concede that comprehension is optional. I won't be sucked into defending myself against an assumption that you make. Maybe you should read what I wrote, instead of trying to make it something you'd like to argue about. BTW, maybe you should look up the definition of genocide before you accuse our military of it. G. Jones "I've never been quarantined. But the more I look around, the more I think it might not be a bad idea."
  10. Awesome pics! Glad you had a good time, looks like it was a great show. Meeting Col. McGee would've been an honor. I'll bet he would be a great guy to chat with over dinner and a beer; a living history lesson. Those GK's are outta control! Their CO needs to reign them in before someone gets hurt. Hell, the one guy's coming in so fast his boots are smoking! G. Jones "I've never been quarantined. But the more I look around, the more I think it might not be a bad idea."
  11. The part in red- Mmmmm, not so much. The Israelis manufacture some of the finest M855 and M193 in the world. They sell a metric shit-ton to other countries for military use, and actually export some newly manufactured surplus for civilian sales. They've also been building their own MBT (The Merkava) since the late 70's. Very innovative, and also rated as one of the best in the world. There's no doubt that the US sells a variety of military hardware to Israel, so there's no need to exaggerate to make your point. As far as killing "tens of thousands of Iraqis and Afghanis;" as long as we're there, that's not nearly enough. I thought your president was supposed to have us out of there by now anyway. Since he hasn't, I submit to you that keeping busy shooting smelly bearded men is the proper way to occupy the time of professional soldiers. G. Jones "I've never been quarantined. But the more I look around, the more I think it might not be a bad idea."
  12. Unfortunate choice of words given the current debate. Allow me to complete your sentence. the last time peace was within striking distance... Hamas launched a rocket at it, then sent a suicide bomber to a crowded mall to complete the job. There is a striking correlation here that is being overlooked. The US took much of the South West from Mexico by military force. Does this mean that we should tolerate frequent rocket attacks and suicide bombings from across the border? Should we return the land so that the "victims" of our policy of aggression can be allowed to enhance their military position? Keep in mind that much of California would need to be returned in order to "right the wrong". In military strategy, an "L" shaped ambush is one of the most effective there is for ground forces. We would be giving Mexico exactly that. Should the US return the land, or should Israel not? We don't even get the rocket and suicide bomber attacks- Just drugs and drug related violence. Why is there no great outcry to return land to Mexico then? The US embraced "Manifest Destiny" as justification for our actions, while Israel has acted in the interest of self preservation. Had they used US policy we wouldn't be having this discussion now. Israel would have simply swept the area they wanted and installed hard borders. ETA: Obama should get his own house in order before he starts lecturing other countries. G. Jones "I've never been quarantined. But the more I look around, the more I think it might not be a bad idea."
  13. Oh, so you're a Bullshit Artist... G. Jones "I've never been quarantined. But the more I look around, the more I think it might not be a bad idea."
  14. Enlarge it to poster size and sell it everywhere. All proceeds should go directly to the wounded warrior project. End of story. G. Jones "I've never been quarantined. But the more I look around, the more I think it might not be a bad idea."
  15. They carried the concept over from their money. G. Jones "I've never been quarantined. But the more I look around, the more I think it might not be a bad idea."
  16. Just more bullshit out of the .gov. If they didn't busy themselves with new ways to fuck with law abiding citizens they might actually have to deal with hardened criminals. It's about time that the people started fucking with the govt instead of the other way around. Maybe farmers should start using large charges of Tannerite. You can even order it on the net. Perfectly legal also. G. Jones "I've never been quarantined. But the more I look around, the more I think it might not be a bad idea."
  17. Not in their entirety, no. But I've actually read maybe 60% of the New Testament, maybe 50%-60% of the Old Testament, probably 1/3 of the Koran, and about 1/2 the book of mormon. I have a tendency to read books out of order. I've been known to read a 350pg non fiction history book from last chapter to first, so with the above mentioned religious works I skipped all over the books. I'm Agnostic, but even if I wasn't, I'd find it extremely difficult to view these books as anything other than fiction, with maybe a smattering of actual history in the bible. IMHO, the Book of Mormon is simply pure, unadulterated bullshit. To each his/her own... I'll never fault anyone for their Religious beliefs, so don't take my opinion as an attack on anyone's faith, because it is simply that...my opinion. I do find it outrageous though, the crimes that have been committed in the name of religion in general. G. Jones "I've never been quarantined. But the more I look around, the more I think it might not be a bad idea."
  18. Ouch! That's pushing the line Paul. One more post like that and I'll be forced to contact the French Embassy, who will no doubt express their outrage at such at such a broad and distasteful slight while running away en masse to avoid a direct confrontation. Bigot! I don't want to talk to you no more, you empty headed animal food trough wiper. I fart in your general direction. Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries. G. Jones "I've never been quarantined. But the more I look around, the more I think it might not be a bad idea."
  19. BINGO! Regardless of where one stands on the citizenship issue, this is going to be the only real answer. I've been known to vote -against- one candidate, instead of -for- the other on several occasions. When faced with two bad choices, the logical thing would be to pick what you perceive to be the lesser of two evils (so to speak) and cast your ballot. In this case, if the only real opposition was Martha Stewart running for the Green party, then she would get my vote. G. Jones "I've never been quarantined. But the more I look around, the more I think it might not be a bad idea."
  20. Kennedy, Professor Kallend is correct. And his is merely a minor example to show basis for my statement. As he stated, a search will give you all the information you could ever ask for, including the fact that SCOTUS has ruled repeatedly to narrow the scope of Legislative Privilege and Legislative immunity only to have those precedents ignored time and again by the D.C. Circuit Court. I'll give you a place to start. Research Legislative Privilege and legislative immunity. Go beyond the base definition and research case histories that are referenced. You'll find interesting reading there, especially United States V. Rayburn. G. Jones "I've never been quarantined. But the more I look around, the more I think it might not be a bad idea."
  21. http://www.alternet.org/teaparty/149806/vision%3A_everyday_brits_are_in_revolt_against_wealthy_tax_cheats_--_can_we_do_that_here/ I didn't read further than your opening post, but as a start for an answer to your question; No. The reason being that we would have to replace a vast majority of the politicians (local, state and especially federal) and overhaul the political system. The current system is based on Graft and Patronage and has been since it's inception. When the federal government was formed and the politicians allowed to write special laws that apply to them only it set the stage for the entire corrupt "power Elite" to become "above the law" so to speak. Where they might get a thorough tongue lashing, you or I would see the inside of a state or federal prison for the same offence. G. Jones "I've never been quarantined. But the more I look around, the more I think it might not be a bad idea."
  22. and recently added was Arizona I believe. Yes... and no... "The key element in the new law is that a concealed carry permit is not necessary “unless required by any other law”. For example, to carry a concealed firearm in a restaurant, Arizona law requires that you have a concealed weapons permit. Similarly, federal law requires a state issued permit if you wish to carry concealed in a national park. Anyone wishing to carry a concealed firearm in another state will need an Arizona CCW permit in order to have reciprocal privileges outside of Arizona." -AZccwpermit.com So, according to the above website, yes, you can carry without a permit in some places in Arizona, but your life is a lot easier if you have one, and it's easy to get one. According to friends of mine who visit there, the restaurant thing can be a pain in the ass. Just a "fun" little fact about national parks and CCW. You can carry in the park but you cannot carry into the visitor center since it is a Federal Building and not part of the park. You know what else is a federal building? The shitter. Would suck to get busted carry while taking a dump Crazy thing I learned in my CCW class. The easy answer to that (The restaurant issue) is simply to move your firearm to an open cary position. Very common in AZ. G. Jones "I've never been quarantined. But the more I look around, the more I think it might not be a bad idea."
  23. Trust me on this one... Beating the shit out of someone in the airport in PHX will definitely get you: 1) Arrested 2) Revoked And it doesn't matter if the asshole started the incident with physical contact and after repeated and polite requests to cease and desist, he knocked your coffee out of your hand. If you knock someone unconcious, they WILL revoke you. Funny thing about that is that I first permitted over 10 years ago, but I never needed one before that, and haven't since revocation. If I should need to use my weapon, I'll have much more to worry about than no permit, even in a justified encounter. G. Jones "I've never been quarantined. But the more I look around, the more I think it might not be a bad idea."
  24. Guess Matthews got another tingle up his leg. Was he able to forget Obama was black this time, too? OMFG! HE'S BLACK???? Or is he "African-American", or a "person of color"? What's politically correct this week? How about "Fucking Idiot"? That has no racial overtones. I like it. Henceforth (In my world anyway...feel free to disagree), BHO shall now and forevermore be known as "THAT FUCKING IDIOT". G. Jones "I've never been quarantined. But the more I look around, the more I think it might not be a bad idea."
  25. Truth! Though most won't admit it for fear of being labeled racist. I don't go out of my way to inflame racial tension, but if that's what it is to begin with, then call a spade a spade (No pun intended, but you can take it how ever you like). G. Jones "I've never been quarantined. But the more I look around, the more I think it might not be a bad idea."
