One of the first in a long progression. 30 mg (3x max) _usually_ put me down within an hour, but would only keep me asleep from 1-1/2 to 2-1/2 hours. So...how many different prescription drugs have you been through to try to get some sleep? Was it a single drug, or a combination that eventually worked? Unconventional drugs? Lmao...the thought's kinda funny, but I actually saw this very thing result in a tib/fib fracture, accompanied by ankle dislocation with a full 90° angulation. Paper streamers are definitely cheaper. No argument here. No prob...If the epileptic in question is controlled with meds and hasn't had a Grand Mal for the last year or so, knows their triggers well, and has jumped previously, then it's a judgment call for the TM imo. If there are no previous skydives (no guarantee it won't trigger a seizure), or if the person has recently experienced a Grand Mal, then my opinion would be no, the person shouldn't be allowed to jump. That's where you said it was the same type of erratic movement. It's not the same. No TI should go into a jump with an epileptic thinking they're even remotely similar. I have a little experience skydiving and no instructor ratings at all, but I do have a shitload of experience with epilepsy both personally and (in a former life) professionally. G. Absolutely no argument there! I would like to think that any Rigger would approach all the gear he services as if he were the only one to ever inspect it, regardless of whether he works for the mfr. That being said...we don't live in an ideal world, and I'll take all the eyes I can get to inspect mine! G. Jones "I've never been quarantined. After reading about errors made by Riggers in general, I wouldn't honestly think the mfr would be any more prone to miss something than any other loft. I believe it all boils down to the level of commitment to quality and detail of the individual Rigger rather than where they work. G. Jones "I've never been quarantined. Since common sense dictates the use of some form of eye protection, and I have very sensitive eyes (blonde/blue)I usually jump with my sun glasses. I wear clear goggles when needed for eye contact. Lol, you'd need a body mount to jump an F828. Actually, I'm grounded for awhile due to a neck injury and figured I may as well make the best of the situation and get some nice pics at Nationals.
