If you are going to free AlexCrowley, then it's only fair to free Ron. Alex stepped over the line numerous times and was warned and he continued to violate the sites rules. Don't get me wrong, I like Alex personally and he and I have exchanged a few friendly PMs, but he enjoyed latitude by the moderators not given to many of us and yet he still continued. His latest campaign with the Puppy Dog Icon and posts designed to garner sympathy shouldn't obfuscate the fact he violated Sangiros rules and he got the hotfork from the site owner. With that said, I hope Alex's ban isn't permanent. I enjoy his wit and humor and I think it adds a lot to the entertainment value of the site. But then again, I enjoyed Ron's too and I hope he is given another chance to post in SC.

I remember at Z-hills last year, about this time, I saw a jumper under a round reserve. When I got there they told me not to land to the east, I think east, anyway it was swampy. That is where this jumper was heading under his reserve. I have never flown a round, that was not being pulled by a boat, or a truck. But seeing that and also on TV movies (paratroopers) I don't see how you guys survived. BUT some of you did. I can not imagine jumping a round, actually I don't think I would want to. I am spoiled by squares. Since I started jumping I have seen crossbracing/sub 100 sq. ft. squares become the norm. I wonder what the future holds? Maybe one day when I'm older, I'll have a conversation with another jumper to the effect. I have seen this before. They don a rig naked, BUT then put on shorts, only to remove them just prior to the jump. You want to pack a cessna with naked people in winter? Apparently, they ignored the request on both sides of the application, and processed the credit card again for $69. Then, according to them, my dropzone only faxed one side of the application form. The instructional rating side was not faxed. So, USPA decided to charge my credit card AGAIN for $49, just for the membership renewal, not for the instructional rating renewal. Now, according to the person I just spoke with, I should get a refund for all these charges in about a month. So, I'm out $187 for what should have been a $69 charge. And hopefully, I'll get the remainder back in a month. 1. USPA should process paperwork before they cash checks. 2. USPA should be able to determine if a payment has already been sent, and not charge for it a second time. 3. USPA should never, ever, charge a third time for something that should have been caught the first and second time

so why is it at 23 jumps you are doing 4 way anything with other jumpers that dont have a coach rating? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My thoughts as well ------------------------------------------------------------ Once a student has been cleared for freefall by an Instructor, and is in the last catagorys of the ISP, they the student can take part on group freefall as long as one of the other jumpers has a coach rating. In his original post he stated that his coach asked him to be base with him on a 4 way.

At that course, the AIC was explained as "course director" training.

The physiology of adult learning, is how I would describe it. I took the course last year in Deland. Jay was there, but Rob had Sherry Butler as XO. Jim Crouch, Bram Clement, and Don Yarhling were just to name a few. I felt very humble with all that talent in the same room. How did you like that "up" position. The one where you de arch the back. I had problems with that one. It just seemed odd to assume that position on a creeper. Don't say Don't!
