Just got my, well part of my sign on bonus from the army. I get $17000 in all but the first payment was just deposited into my bank account for $4653. Noice! Although it is almost all gone i did pay off my new rig wich i love so far its a Voodoo V3 with a 149 crossfire

to broad of a time span to choose, but my fav's are: Van Nieselrooy (SP) of Man U. Zidane you cant argue is on of the best of recent times. Thanks to all who made the trip. Saturday was a blast, sorry i had to disappearr sunday. I wanted to stay, but Some medical problems arose and I owe beer for first time on an ambulance,and first time caughing up blood (sweet). Turns out i had walking pnuemonia and I tore my esophagus(sp) and something wrong with my white blood cells but i cant remember what the doctor said i was out of it. The doctors miss diagnosed me last weekend when i was sick, i think they got it right this time. But other than that this weekend was a blast. Archway always will be my home even though i have been jumping at a new DZ quit a bit since i joined the army but in all the differences of all the DZs ive visited Archway is always the place for me. Hey Anne, I went shopping yesterday for chrismas gifts for the family and oly managed to buy stuff for me, unfortunately the stuff was boot polishing stuff, a thermal shirt to wear under my BDU's cuz its getting cold a liner for my field jacket and some cleaning supplies to clean me room, it just isnt the same shopping in the army. Hello again people. well some of you might remember me but i see so many new people hear. for those that do remember me some have thought i dissappeared but really at the age of 22 i decided i needed something different in my life and joined the ARMY. Good or bad decision i havent figured it out yet i am still training in AIT. but it looks good so for i think ill have a good time. the only downer is the lack of free time. but that will come . Trying to jump when your not allowed off post for 3 months is a little difficult then when the do let you off you only ahave about 20 hrs. But if you desperate enough youll always find some way to get back into the thing you love most. So last weekend o managed to hop in a cab a ($80) cab and head on up to skydive the point at west point skydiving with some friends. The atmosphere of the dz was so great it reminded me quite a bit of my home Archway just the excitement in the air was great to be back. I took 2 people making there 1rst jumps and am taking more next weekend but the 1rst time jumper excitment that they had just brought me back to a world that was so hard to voluntarily give up.. anyway to what seemed like an eternity i finally found myself engulfed in the air once again. my eyes wide open to make sure i didnt miss one second of the view on the way from 15k on down. what a feeling it was, unfortunately i only had time for 2 jumps but thats ok it was a wonderful taste of life. Next week theres more to come. well sorry this turned out so long. i just had to share and some people here just dont understand like you all out there. well until next week may all you eyes be turned upward. I first must say I havent been able to get on the internet for awhile due to lots of work and lack of connection so this is the first time ive seent the new site, I thinks it pretty cool. But anyway I just wanted to say that ill be gone for a little while.. I joined the army and will be shipped out 8/7/02. not much time left. Basic training will be at Fort Knox kentucky, AIT at Fort Lee Virginia, Airborne at Fort Benning Georgia, and my home station of Fort Bragg North Carolina. My MOS is 77F Petroleom Supplies Sp. So ill be pumping fuel for helicopters, Im sure. Although my cousin ( a west point grad) thinks he can recomend my for warrant officer flight school so i can fly for the army. So who all jumps at Raeford, I have a feeling ill be spending all my free time out there. What is the DZ like , and what are the regular jump planes there. Before i go in i will be spending 2 weeks in Sanibel Island. FL. anyone jumpe down there near Naples or Sarasota. My last week will hopefully be spent at Rantoul. The "hill' in st. louis is so called because it is the highest elevation in the city of St. Louis, Formerly called Deigo Hill (SP) Cause of the huge population of Italian imigrants that moved there in the early days. Later the "Deigo" was dropped cause some found it offensive. You should have gave me a call when you were down hear i work on the hill and drink there quit a bit, although im sure you had your fun out with anne. Busy working so couldnt jump more.. 1 case for getting c license # 32487 1 for signing my life away for 5 years Looking forward to the NSL next weekend at SDC many new firsts will owe lots of beer,. and i still owe 2 for my intentional cutway from last weekend and losing the ripcord on the cutaway.
