  1. Posting may help Mine: 1)I become an all you can eat special for sharks. 2)The Loreena Bobbit sisterhood 3)Joan Rivers (in general) 4)Restaurant workers adding "secret ingredients" in my meal. Beware of the collateralizing and monetization of your desires. D S #3.1415
  2. I agree,I revise the will regularly. Medical directive? absolutely, I would like to be able to crawl out (or be placed if unconscious) into the woods and let the bears & coyotes have the last say. Does posting this on the web count?? Embalming fluid really brings out your smile. Beware of the collateralizing and monetization of your desires. D S #3.1415
  3. Yep packed it myself, i go through a check list every time and re check that I have stowed, cocked & set everything. I think that I need to work on neater and tighter packing into the bag to reduce pack volume which equals less friction pressure on the bridle, and practice a more stretched out and stable body position during long deployments or pilot chute hesitation even if the PC drag trys to pull me over my center of gravity. But I will have the rigger check the kill line too. Beware of the collateralizing and monetization of your desires. D S #3.1415
  4. Thanks yall I am going to ask someone at the DZ to film my deployment from a safe dist but before that i will check with a rigger to see if I am stuffing the bridle too far under the super tight flaps (new 188 pilot canopy which is near max size for the container) I will also try to squish out more air and make the bag smaller before I place it in the tray thus making it easyer for the pilot chute to pull it out Plus I am going to consciously stick my arms out farther after the throw. I checked the closing loop, thats the right length and the pilot chute came with the container so I assume it is the right size. I thank Aerodyne for making the Pilot canopy so forgiving that it opened on heading after all of the mess I was in. And Mirage for making such a rugged reliable container which prevented me from breaking my neck even though I put a dubious pack job into it and went upside down during deployment. After all that, I had the best no wind landing ever! I love my rig even more now. Beer for you! Beware of the collateralizing and monetization of your desires. D S #3.1415
  5. I have recently had a discussion with a rocket engineer about the use of laser devices to disable missiles in flight, yes I know this smacks of the Star Wars rhetoric of the reagan era. BUT now the guidance technology has caught up to the delivery technology ie mirrors that can flex focus with the use of nano coatings. Plus computer guidance systems which can calculate the focus point of contact on a missile travelling at multiple mach speed. Imagine that only a small hole is needed in the engine section to cause a total missile failure.. Talk about erectile dysfunction for missile deployed weapons. That my friends is what I call a promising future. By the time the N Koreans have a viable weapons program this defense system may already be in place. 7. Ok here's the situation; BOC pull out kill line pilot chute recommended by manufacturer, 1 year old rig and canopy. Normal skydive for my skill level other things equal except for deployment sequence- stable arch (as far as I can tell) wave off,3000Ft, pull out, THEN, no line stretch for a few seconds, feel myself pitch forward to nearly head down, i look up(to my feet) to see the pilot chute inflated but nothing is happening, the bridle is taught but swirling around my leg & wrapping around my foot and i notice my rizers and suspension lines are out as I flip around... SHHIIIT a Horseshoe malfunction?? I go for my handles but suddenly feel the rizers tug as the suspension lines barely clear my face......I look up to see a good main canopy on heading....PHEW! never so glad to see the colors over my head... this is the third time this year i pithced over on a slow deployment but this time it was SCARY. Could this be a packing error - container lock issue with pilot chute in tow which pitches me over due to drag and forward CG ?? help me please. 8. Ahh yes, this is the perfect time break out the baseball bat, then get a Mac. shit, did I type that out loud Beware of the collateralizing and monetization of your desires. D S #3.1415
  9. This device is certainly a better alternative to the standard trigger pull and If you are on the front line you do what you have to do to survive. But imagine for a second that you are driving down your street in America- a street you have driven down hundreds of times, then a political situation changes and you are confronted by a check point manned by oh lets say for example Russian soldiers. ...in our country. They shine a laser in your face. Now judging by the zeal that is demonstrated here I would say that over time temperance would be lost and a large percentage of us would be inclined to step on the gas and toss a grenade out the window. Yes? be honest. note to NSA; this is a hypothesis. Beware of the collateralizing and monetization of your desires. D S #3.1415

  11. Yes, with scenes like; Lisa Simpson: Nobody will listen to me because I'm a girl! Homer Simpson: Every one listens to me, I'm a white male ages 25 to 42 (as he reaches for a product called; Nuts-n-Gum together at last) Who could argue. 12. If they did come by they might not like the reception they get from their bosses, after being interrupted whilst having coffee at a friends house. ahuh, yes of course; "coffee" Beware of the collateralizing and monetization of your desires. D S #3.1415
  13. The only thing that I am willing to correct in my statement is that Alias and "24" are techinically not situational comedys although the plots are funny. Anyway, I said illegal subject matter, not activities. Besides, I thought only KNOWN or suspected criminals and terrorists are supposed to have their phones tapped. Have you not learned anything from watching the Sopranos. Is there someting you would like to share with everybody here about your illegal activities? Let's test the system to see if an episode of Cops will be filmed at your house. Beware of the collateralizing and monetization of your desires. D S #3.1415
  14. I submit that the said paranoia is not the result of recent news stories but the influence of modern literature, movies, certain historical events such as Watergate, TV sitcoms such as 24 and Alias etc. The interesting thing to me is that so many of us think that our phone conversations about inane crap (even about sublime, unsavory,or illegal subject matter) are that fucking interesting. Nonetheless, some paranoia is a good thing in a society, it squelches any covert authoritarian bullshit before it becomes policy. Beware of the collateralizing and monetization of your desires. 15. Ok so far we have documented in this series of arguments that though Clinton was a philandering fat headed boob, Bush has proven to be a fiscally flatulent ferret faced fuck. Beware of the collateralizing and monetization of your desires. D S #3.1415
  16. Politicians....what are we going to do about them. I know how it feels to be let down by a candidate, I voted for Clinton both times and in the end he demonstrated for all to see that he was a philandering fat headed boob. What can we expect, these are after all humans, and to place ultimate trust in them is a bit naive i admit. what is our alternative? govt. by computers? I think each prez over time has made some good policy choices which in some way benefitted this country and other countries- and their share of bad ones,um- depending on your political base. Their intentions are all good, they are public servants when they take the oath. But after a few months in office it seems they all become poisoned by partisan bullshit. But thats what we have to work with, it's like a bus with a bunch of assholes in it, all shouting about which dingledork should drive, and where they should go. All the while it keeps stalling in the middle of the highway, and they have to keep getting out, read the manual, and tweak the engine to get it running again. All we can do is stay informed, watch them on the news, hope they don't crash the bus into a ditch, and vote. Now, if we can only harness this power THEN WHAT! MWAHHAHAHAHA! Beware of the collateralizing and monetization of your desires. D S #3.1415
  17. As was said on the news hour tonight during the Sheilds and Gigot segment;"Bush needs to deploy the national guard to stop the conservative republicans from fleeing away from the white house"... "its a purely political move." Beware of the collateralizing and monetization of your desires. D S #3.1415
  18. You'll be sharing all right, since you like GMO crops so much and probably grow them on your land you will be sharing contaminated pollen with all of your neighbors soon. Sure they save on erosion and pesticide use in the short run, but i think you will be tapping into your oil reserve soon enough after crops fail when unpredictable and widespread plant mutations begin. Monsanto corp is just not giving you that info right now, but they will "share" it with you later. Anyway, ADM is up to 44 per share, how much have you made so far? I think it is over valued due to speculation about ethanol but who can tell. Beware of the collateralizing and monetization of your desires. D S #3.1415
  19. Just clicking around and suddenly there they were on main stream TV just for a fer a sec. head down, cool.but its gone. Beware of the collateralizing and monetization of your desires. D S #3.1415

  21. Mr. GM I understand your plight, not that you care, but I think we see that the prez does not control the universe and very few conspiracies can propagate in todays "every talking head for themself" political climate. As I have said before look at the way Washington works, its amazing anything gets done as the politicians all have their own agenda. What we need is a statesman (or woman); someone who is going to do what is best for the country. Yes I know thats what Bush says he is doing and I applaud him for at least mentioning alternative fuels. But the man has had too many dinners with oil executives and I suspect that he drinks a little crude before bed every night just to take the edge off. BTW I see from your avatar that Fart Man is your hero, did you know that methane (ever light a fart?) is an alternative fuel? Beware of the collateralizing and monetization of your desires. 22. The principal feedstock for biodiesel (another ADM product) currently is canola oil which is actually from a mustard plant second is soybean. From what I have seen soy actually has a lower oil yield, much like corn. Canola has a bad rap as well unfortunately due to the practices of Monsanto corp who hold many of the GMO patents on the key varieties. There are GMO free varieties of all of these crops, it will be a bloody fight in congress to see who wins out. Beware of the collateralizing and monetization of your desires. D S #3.1415
  23. Ya mon, I have been following the stock market with this one, check out Archer Daniels Midland, ticker ADM. This company is spearheading ethanol production world wide & opening new plants accross the states. They are on it! It went from 17 last year to 29 per share when Bush opened his mouth on national TV with his state of the union address with regard to ethanol. Today it is at 36!!!(I sold it already regretfully) One caviat, they grow corn which is tied to Monsanto, a company known for "agro terrorism". If you think pesticides were a big issue for food production then think of what they'll do with corn crops to be eaten only by cars. Enter GMO's bigtime, then "Enter Sandman". 24. It seems that my enthusiasm for this has gotten ahead of reality a bit. (what a shock) Anyway, my research and determination to get the ball rolling as far as retail stores go is revealing some things. First of all manufacturers may void the vehicles warrantee if these mods are made by anyone but an "authorized dealer" and since the auto industry is so entrenched with the oil industry its not likely they will look the other way. Auto parts dealers simply a subsidiary of the auto industry so what the manufacturer says goes. It will take a while for manufacturers to create the kit mods for their "Authorized dealers" to install & they may never do it despite pressure from society. Another form of obsolescence: "Your car is now worthless unless you buy a NEW flex fuel vehicle! Get to your dealer while the deals are hot" To this of course I say F.U. I am going to do it anyway, thats my wallet we are talking about at the pump. My warrantee is long gone and I like "old car smell". Power to the internet! 25. Hell yes! I went to Auto zone today to grill the emplyees about conversion kits and they said " nope we dont carry any of those parts, can't help ya. Mother fathers! soon people are going to be scrambling for that stuff. Some smart fucker is going to start a retail store for conversion kits. I garrrontee!
