Well, which is it, a bad idea or not always a good idea? Non DZ jumps can be very safely done with the proper preparation, AND YOU KNOW IT! Don't try to pretend otherwise. Your posts in this thread are non constructive criticizm. The equivalent of calling a base jumper a Fucking Moron because you happen to think his sport has too high a risk factor, instead of perhaps suggesting ways to mitigate the risk factor. You're insticts are not what are being requested by this jumper, it is your experience that he was trying to tap, and in a very reasonable tone, you threw it in his face. Even 34 years of experience can speak like three years. It's up to you to convey that experience in how you behave, speak, and pass on info. If you choose to act as you did in this thread, then your exprience means NOTHING to the circumstance at hand. |>.
